这是我刚来美国时跟韩国太太Ruth学做的辣白菜.大家可别小看了这碟小菜,制作起来工序繁杂这呢! 我们两人从下午1:00一直做到5:30,一分钟也没停过,才折腾出了这美味无敌的辣白菜!
1.3-4 cabbage
2. pepper power (3 rice cup)
3.2 big radish
4.3-4 carrot
5. one big piece of ginger
6.2 onion
7. 1box of garlic (0.8lb aprox)
8. 2 bunch of green onion
9.red mustard (optional )
10.fish sauce (half bottle)
11.sweet rice (1 cup of sweet rice) or sweet rice powder
Step 1: cut the cabbage into 1/4, salt the cabbage
(dip one by one into very salty walter, put aside ,inside part facing the roof ,add small portion of salt at the root part)
Step 2. grinder the ginger (peeled), garlic, and onion, add some fish sauce when grindering
Step 3.slice carrot and one of radish
Step 4.chop the green onion and red mustard into 3cm long chop
Step
5.grinder the soaked sweet rice, boil it with water, stir it into
very sticky liquid, wait it turn to
cold
Step 6. mix 2 ,5 with red pepper powder, fish sauce,and 5 tea spoon of sugar
Step 7. put 3, 4 into 6
Step 8.wash salted cabbage twice , put aside, inside part facing the floor, filtrate the walter
Step 9.chop another radish into big piece
Step 10. use 7 to salt cabbage, put 7
between leaf ,reserve it into kimchi container ,put big piece
radish together with cabbage.
