大麦小米伞妈美国教育 |

那天跟朋友说起孩子们在学校的学习,我说孩子们在学校里的学习真的是形式多样丰富多彩生动有趣富有创造性思维啊!朋友马上让我举例说明是怎么个富有创造性思维的,我一时语塞举不出例子来。前天清理垃圾看到一些孩子们去年带回家在学校里做的东西(二年级上学期),随便拿几样照了相放上来看看哈。这些也许都没啥了不起的,可是对我来说挺新奇的,因为我小时候上学不是这么学习的。

这大概是学习自然科学吧?当然顺便学习语言和词汇了。孩子们的词汇在某些方面是已经比我多了。比如这些个不同云彩的名字,恐怕我这辈子是不想去记住了。
这个叫“cloud finder”
的圆盘有两层,上面的一层上下有两个窗口,转动上面这个圆盘,下面的窗口显示出不同的云彩的图片,上面的窗口则显示出跟下面图片相应的对不同云彩的解释。这是小米班里做的。小米回家后拿出这个cloud
finder 演示给我看,给我解释不同的云彩的特点及它们会出现在什么样的天气里。
cumulonimbus: Giant thunderhead clouds that tower to high
heights. Thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail, winds, and lightning
are on the way.
cumulonimbus: 巨大的高耸如塔的云。通常情况下,暴风雨伴随着大雨冰雹强风和闪电就要到来。
Stratus: Flat layer of low clouds. Light rain, drizzle, or flurries likely, overcast skies at best.

3. 这个是小米写的作文。看起来好象是读书笔记,对所读书总结概括一样。作文写的是有关农场的,所以小米做了一个立体的农场,有牛有草堆有绿色的田野还有白云和太阳,当然还少不了美国典型的农场的标志,红色的农场场房。作文里是这样写的:

Every day on a dairy farm is busy. The cows must be milked
twice a day. A cow dosen't have top teeth at teh front of her
mouth. In the summer,Mr. Riddle cut the grass. The cows will have
hay to eat when the grass is dry. A cow has one baby at a time. But
a cow needs more than grass and hay to make good milk. Mr. Riddle
also makes corn.

Once upon a time, there was a turkey. It was almost
Thanksgiving day. He did not know what to do. So he thought and
thought. He decided to go to the moon. So he sneakly went to
NASA(美国火箭中心)to get a air helmet and a rocket. So at night he went
to NASA and got a lot of helmets.But he did not get the rocket.
Because the rocket was too heavy. So the next day, he got his
friends. So that night they went to NASA and got the rocket and
flew to the moon. And the turkeys never got eaten again
!
The End!
哈哈,原来感恩节前夕火鸡们偷了火箭集体飞往月球,从此火鸡再也不会在感恩节被人类(美国人)吃掉了。
语言还不成熟,用了很多“so”,大部分是简单句,有时候只是一个分句却当成一个完整的句子来写,可见语法知识欠缺。不过我看了还是觉得小米的思路可爱好玩。

A. Once there was a razor-sharp-teeth dog and he was very
hungry.从前有一只牙齿跟刮胡刀一样锋利的狗,而且他非常饿。
B. There were two groups of bones and one of them had 7 bones,
the other had 14 bones. 有两组骨头供它选择。一组有7块骨头,另一株有14块骨头。
C. He decided to eat the group that had 14 bones. He ate the
one with 14 bones because 14 is greater than 7.
它决定吃那组有14块骨头的,因为14比7大。
哈哈,俺家小米太爱狗了,常常拿狗来说事。在家里,她有时候给小姜妹上课讲数学,晚上睡觉前给小姜妹读书。有小米陪伴小姜妹,估计小姜妹是世界上最聪明的狗了,哈哈!

C. 1 dolphin, 8 flowers and 2 cars
D. 2 balls, 1 cat, 3 flowers
and 5 dolphins
7.这个是化学实验,哈哈。大麦在学校用泥巴做了一个“七彩火山”,回家后两个人不停地反复做实验,观擦“火山爆发”。怎么让火山爆发呢?将醋倒到“火山”上,再把小苏打倒上去,醋和小苏打发生反应开始冒泡泡,火山就爆发啦!就这么个简单的东西,可是两个人隔三差五就鼓捣鼓捣,而且观察得还那个仔细啊!孩子的兴趣大人永远也摸不清哈!
