英国成功进口圣地伯利恒葡萄酒

英国葡萄酒进口商称，在以色列政府解除禁运之后，来自伯利恒的葡萄酒再次成功进入英国市场。

Della Shenton来自英格兰康沃尔的利斯卡德，她建立了一个非盈利性的公司5th Gospel Retreats，用以帮助在巴勒斯坦境内的基督徒。她说，以色列政府已经允许葡萄酒运输车辆穿过以色列，并在以色列的海法港装船至欧洲。

Shenton女士说，在去年12月4日的时候，一辆载满12000瓶Cremisan葡萄酒的卡车离开约旦河西岸，穿过检查站时未受到阻拦。从那之后，就有葡萄酒持续运往以色列装船。

虽然这些葡萄酒运到英国时，圣诞节已经过去很久了，但以色列所有的宗教机构运输葡萄酒都很及时。

Firm imports Bethlehem altar wine

The grapes are grown without the use of chemicals

Altar wine from Bethlehem is set to re-enter the UK again after movement restrictions were lifted by the Israeli authorities, its UK importer has said.

Della Shenton from Liskeard, Cornwall, set up the not-for-profit company 5th Gospel Retreats to help Christians in the Palestinian territories.

She said authorities had allowed the wine to cross into Israel, where it can be shipped into Europe from Haifa.

The wine is made at the Cremisan winery in Beit Jala, a suburb of Bethlehem.

It is produced in the West Bank by the Roman Catholic order the Salesians of Don Bosco.

Employment protection

The grapes are grown without the use of chemicals and the crop is hand picked by local Palestinians from the Bethlehem area.
