香港國際詩歌之夜 International Poetry Nights in HK(2009-10-31 19:26:15)

  

香港國際詩歌之夜”將於2009年11月26日至29日在香港舉辦。有七位來自四大洲的著名國際詩人參加,包括美國當代最重要的詩人之一加里‧施耐德(Gary Snyder),美國散文詩人兼翻譯家艾略特‧溫伯格(Eliot Weinberger),阿拉伯語詩歌界的代表人物、埃及詩人阿赫穆德‧海加茲(Ahmad Abdul Muti Hijaji),日本戰後一代的代表性詩人高橋睦郎、阿爾巴尼亞女詩人魯列塔‧柳沙那庫(Luljeta Lleshanaku),德國詩人庫爾特‧德拉沃特(Kurt Drawert)和墨西哥最重要的女詩人卡羅•布拉喬(Carol Bracho)。與這一強大國際陣容相媲美的是用中文寫作的詩人,有來自中國大陸的翟永明、歐陽江河,來自台灣的鴻鴻,以及住在香港的也斯、葉輝、胡燕青、廖偉棠和北島。

 

這將是有史以來香港規模最大的國際詩歌盛會。它將給香港人緊張忙碌的生活中帶來詩意,拓展香港正規教育中創造與想像的空間,為香港成為國際性的文化都市做出貢獻。

 

“香港國際詩歌之夜”將使用包括英文在內的多語種進行交流,出版詩歌手冊,以及配合朗誦的字幕,因而,這大門也是向在港的外國朋友敞開的。

 

“香港國際詩歌之夜”包括如下面對公眾的活動:

加里•施耐德專場朗誦討論會 時間:11月28日下午兩點三十分 地點:香港浸會大學何善衡校園查濟民科學大樓5樓

香港詩歌之夜—粵語專場朗誦會  時間:11月28日晚七時  地點:中文大學崇基書院利黃瑤碧樓演講廳

閉幕朗誦會 11月29日晚七時  香港藝術中心

 

“香港國際詩歌之夜”是由香港中文大學東亞研究中心、香港浸會大學國際作家工作坊、拔萃男書院以及香港中文大學新亞書院、大學圖書館系統共同主辦的。

International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong

International Poetry Nights in Hong Kong”, a gala in celebration of poetry and poets, will be held from 26 to 29 November 2009. Famous poets from all around the globe will participate in the event, including Gary Snyder, the doyen of American poetry; Eliot Weinberger, the American essayist, poet and translator; Ahmad Abdul Muti Hijaji of Egypt, the leading poet of the Arabic world; Takahashi Mutsuo, the foremost Japanese poet of the post-war period; Luljeta Lleshanaku, the Albanian poetess; Kurt Drawert of Germany; and Carol Bracho, the famous Mexican poetess. Joining this stellar cast will be Zhai Yongming and Ouyang Jianghe from Mainland China, Hung Hung from Taiwan, and Hong Kong’s Yesi, Wu Yin-ching, Liu Wai Tong and Bei Dao.

 

            The event is the biggest international gathering of poets in the history of Hong Kong. It will impart a sense of poetry to the busy life of the Hong Kong people, expand the vista of creativity and imagination in Hong Kong’s conventional education system, and contribute to the recognition of Hong Kong as an international metropolis.

 

            The activities will be conducted multilingually. During the poetry recitations, English and Chinese versions of the poems will be projected on a screen for easy reference. The organizers will also publish a poetry collection, which will include selected poems of the participating poets in English, Chinese and the original language. Poetry lovers of all nationalities are welcome to attend the activities.
