sin.

It
means to await one's destructions with complete docility.One of the
Israeli prophets,Isaiah says,"He was oppressed,and he was
afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; like a lamb that is led
to the slaughter..." The lamb referrs to Jesus who was crucified
without resistence, just like a meek and gentle lamb.
14.A leopard
can't change its spots. 本性难移 恶习难改
The Bible says,"Can Ethiopians change their skin or leopards their
spots? Then also you can do good who are accustomed to do evil."
Therefore, this idiom means a person's character,especially if it
is bad, will not change ,even if they pretend it has. This is what
