Say that something won’t hurt:

首先：it won’t hurt=it will do not harm 没有坏处

即说某事不妨碍：you won’t feel a thing.

 Offer to find a solution:

表示可以代为设法：let me try to work something out.

                  I’ll come up with something.

 Make a promise:

We’ll see to it that you have strawberry and vanilla ice cream.

Encourage a child:

Come on now!

You’re a big boy/girl.

She has a special way with kids.她对孩子很有一套。

ACT I

Specific: 详细的，明确的，确切的

        特定的，特殊的

Confidence：信心，把握；自信；信任

Reward:  n/v to give sb sth because they have done sth useful for you.报答，酬报，奖赏

Come up with sth: to think or suggest an idea

Reassure: 使安心，使放心               n reassurance 安慰

Assure: 使确信，向。。。保证；保证（sb）得到（sth）

Verify: 证实，核实（sth）

Refer to: 提及，涉及；查阅；提及给（组织或个人）处理

Greet: 与。。。打招呼，问候，致意；以（。。。方式）对待sth

Gang: 一伙，一群，一帮（多指年轻人）

See to: 照料，处理，安排（sth）

See to it: to be sure ( to do sth) 照料，留意

Negotiate: 谈判，协商；商定，通过谈判达成（协议）

Act out: act sth out 把（想法等）付诸行动

Prescribe: 开药 ，开处方 e.g.: take one tablet or a day , or as prescribed by your doctor.
