*kick your ass 是指踢你的屁股，就是要痛扁你的意思，但是kick ass 却是完全相反，表示酷毙、超赞的意思。比如说“Wilber’s songs really kicks ass.”（玮柏的歌超赞！）虽然它的用法像个形容词，但事实上这是很街头的说法，不必特别讲究文法。但是在正式书信，或是跟长辈说话可不要随便用它，如果你今天随随便便跟老师说：“你今天教得很傻喔！”是不是讨打？
