Just after the close of the week long National Day holiday, i embarked on my job hunting campaign. Nowadays, the competition in job market is red hot, even postgraduates are worried about their future. Whenever a career talk of a company, famous or not, is held in some universities, there are floods of job hunters scrambling for application, scrambling for the countable job vacancies. Sometimes, i really get scared and helpless about my future, asking myself whether i can survive the ferocious competition. 


If you want to work in a prestigious company, you have to endure much "labor work" at first,i.e. online application. Usually there are a lot of things covering each aspect of you that need you to identify in the application form, so you do a lot of "choose" and "fill out" in forms of multi choice questions, blank filling or item selecting. After that, you are required to answer a string of questions to test your personality. For nearly most of the big companies, they also present you several open questions, and some companies are voracious enough to ask you to answer the question with no less than 1000 characters. What a hell! It is extremely time consuming even your internet is running at high speed. Unfortunately, you live on campus, the internet is as slow as a snail. You roar with anger, slappling the computer vehemently,however it is still slow. 


According to my experience, it takes about four hours to submit a complete application form, regardless of the time you spend on modification. What's more upset is that for the most part, your strenous and patient application will yield no response, because you know, the competition is so cutthroat that the company only choose several "best". Is it the rule of "survive the fittest"? Anyway, i, along with all other graduates, will never stop the headache online application if there are job vacancies, because we all, at least, have hopes. Best wishes for all the job-hunters! Best wishes for me, i wish i will land a satisfactory job! Struggle!
