Black Saint artist Joe Rosenberg has made Asia his home for many years, but his musical “homes” have been far away…. Joe has been recording for many years with a great Parisian unit centered on percussionist Edward Perraud as well as performing with distinguished artists in New York and San Francisco.
Black Saint 旗下艺术家 Joe Rosenberg 多年来以亚洲为家，但他的音乐“家乡”却在遥远的地方… Joe 多年来一直在与巴黎一个以打击乐手 Edward Perraud 为核心的著名乐队合作录制唱片，并与纽约和旧金山的著名艺术家合作表演。

However, Joe has long felt the need for a group closer to his home in Bali. Drawing on his musical experiences around the region, he has finally found a way to cast his music with players that share his vision for exploratory improvisation. The group has been very active in the last two years, playing to enthusiastic crowds at Universities and jazz festivals in the Asia region.

Peter Scherr, a long time colleague from Hong Kong, lends his sure-footed and swinging bass lines with an uncanny feel for the twists and turns of Joe’s music.
Sri Aksan Sjuman (percussion), one of the stars of Indonesia’s music scene was the perfect link for this group.
