We are in receipt of your letter我们收到你方来信 of June 15 informing us that the captioned上述 goods have been shipped per s.s. “Fengqing”已装“丰庆”轮 and thank you for your Invoice No. B830927 in triplicate.一式三份。

With regard to the packing for ready-made garments , 关于现成服装包装事you say that you have taken up the matter 你方说已讨论过with the competent departments 主管部门and are of the opinion that packing in cartons will prevent skilful pilferage防止惯偷; such cartons are well protected against moisture防潮; they are light 轻巧and convenient to handle易搬运, etc. After discussing the matter with our clients, we find that your comments意见 sound quite reasonable很有道理. However, we cannot be sure how things will prove to be until the first lot of goods packed in such cartons arrives.

We are of the opinion 我们的意见是that if the result of packing in cartons turns out to the satisfaction of our clients如果纸箱包装结果令我们的客户满意, you may continue using this packing in the future. However, in case of the result not being so,但是，如果结果不是如此， we are afraid that this will considerably affect the development of business between us.恐怕这将严重影响我们之间的生意发展。
