如期举办Chamber of Commerce的Business Happy Hour：商业欢乐时光Party，本来

也没阿妮什么事，可看到邀请信上写有芝士，就决定跟人去了，全部看到2张亚洲脸……

一楼提供葡萄酒(wine)和各种饮料，二楼提供各式甜点(dessert)和香槟酒，三楼

提供芝士(cheese，奶酪)、葡萄酒…… 选择不同的芝士搁在饼干上很快就吃饱了

富豪巴菲特虽然富甲一方，却仍然住在一栋三房小屋内，那是他结婚50周年后所买的房子。他说

他们家什么都有了，而事实上他家甚至连围墙和篱笆都没有。He still lives in the same small 3-

bedroom house in mid-town Omaha,that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says

that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest trivate jet company.

巴菲特的公司Berkshire Hathaway，旗下拥有63家企业。他每年只写一封信给这些企业的总裁，把今年的营运

目标告诉他们。他从来不曾定期主持或召开会，他给这些总裁们的守则只有以下两条。 His company, Berkshire

Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them

goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO's only two rules.

守则一:不要让公司的投资人亏本  Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money.

守则二: 不要忘记守则一  Rule number 2: Do not forget rule   number 1.

巴菲特不太参加上流社会的社交应酬。下班后他主要的活动就是弄一点爆米花来吃吃，看看电视。

He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home

is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.

几年前，世界首富比尔盖兹首次跟巴菲特见面，他觉得自己跟巴菲特没有什么共同点，所以他只安排了半个小时

跟巴菲特交谈。但当他们见面后，一共谈了10个小时，从此之后，比尔盖兹开始成为巴菲特的忠实信徒，投身慈
