praires and cowboys and Indians ,and I became obsessed with the west…So texas…I mean,

Clapton之邀做为其巡演的嘉宾,当时S.R.V和Clapton在途中分乘两架直升机,Jimmi和Clapton在一起,但是S.R.V的那架不幸坠毁,失去挚友的Clapton痛不欲生,消沉了一年多,后来在Jimmi的鼓励下再次复出,Jimmi
Vaughan的这首<SIX STRINGS DOWN>就是为了纪念自己的弟弟S.R.V的,
对弟弟的死,Jimmi在歌中唱到:

看看歌词,里面出现的名字都是已经为音乐献出了生命的大师,他们都是听从天堂的召唤而”回家”的Blues
