Ding Cheng (1981-),born in Binhai,Jiangsu Province,the key member of “The piston” poetry group in Shanghai,is the author of the poetry collections:Door of Sunlight and Reflection of Snowscape. He initiated the “post-80s poetry campaign” in 2002.

Beat hard on the door,on the bell
Beat on timber,the bed frame and flesh
In practice,the joys we understand
Are outside of life
In practice,we beat on
Because we have nothing
The pipeline hidden inside our bodies
Winds a path to quiet seclusion
The explosives planted inside our bodies
Strong spirited,easy to burn
People who throw caution to the wind
Break morality into pieces
Retrieve from it some brilliant scheme
This is an era with no seminal organ
Between conception and effort
Between the monsoon and the district
What must exist here,what must be said
Is war,peace,humanity,freedom
So too a bit more thoroughly
And under more joyful principles
Live to the end.

身体里藏着的管道

《中国当代诗歌前浪》一书由“POINT国际诗歌出版社”出版，该出版社由国际诗人、翻译家杰曼·卓根布鲁特在1984年创办于比利时，后迁址西班牙，现已出版世界各地著名诗人100余部作品。2009年8月20日，马其顿－斯特鲁加国际诗歌节择定开幕式，为杰曼先生举行“POINT出版社25周年庆”，并着力推介《中国当代诗歌前浪》。其时，《中国当代诗歌前浪》（中文简体/汉英双语版），业由青海人民出版社于8月出版，并在第2届“青海湖国际诗歌节”隆重刊行。
诗人、翻译家海岸与杰曼先生，历时两年之余，协力策划、编译、出版了《中国当代诗歌前浪》。诗集选编了中国大陆60位出生在20世纪50－60年代，至今仍在世界范围内坚持汉语写作的先锋诗人作品，也收录了代表更年轻一代审美取向与文化观念的“70－80后”诗人作品。
据中方编译者披露，此书编选蓝本要上溯至上世纪1987－1988年，曾以民刊形式出现的《中国·上海诗歌前浪》（编者：一土、醉权、羊工），因此，时隔20余年《中国当代诗歌前浪》的正式出版，不仅是阵容与篇幅上的扩展，也是对80年代诗歌精神的回望和禀承。
诗集以汉英双语形式呈现新世纪全球经济一体化背景下，具有悠久诗歌传统的中国当代新诗面貌。此书英文翻译分为两类：学术翻译和诗人翻译。全书二分之一英译出自英语世界的学者、诗人、翻译家之手，如凌静怡、霍布恩、梅丹理、乔直、柯雷、戴迈河、西敏等，其余部分由海岸先生提供英译初稿，再分别由美国诗人徐载宇(2008-2009中美富布赖特奖获得者)、梅丹理（诗人、翻译家、中国民间诗歌研究者）等合力完成。
《中国当代诗歌前浪》一书，无论在诗歌创作还是诗歌翻译上均属上乘之作，它的出版将有益于国际诗歌界对中国当代诗歌的了解与认识。
该书的国内版本由海岸、吉狄马加担任主编，也已正式出版。（下图）
