One day in autumn, I went strolling with my friend Christopher(Chris for short) when a girl we knew rode a bike past us.
"Hi, Kevin!"She shouted as she past.
That's when I noticed the strangest thing in the history of the world, she had a snake around her neck! I 've seen snakes strangle people and swallow then whole! I wanted to ask why so I tore after her. When I caught up I was out of breathe.
    "Why... pant..do... pant...you...pant... have...pant...a snake?" I finally managed.
"Why? It's my pet!" she answered.
Just then the snake got scared and slipped away.
     "Get him back!" she cried.
"Run for your lives!" my brother Eddie told his friend Raymond.
"More like 'Run for your wives!'"I snorted.
We chased the snake across the ground, up the bars down half way slide  and (only me) over a fence. The fence was a good speed up because of the protest of who will go.
     "You go!" commanded Chris.
     "Kevin, help me!"She cried.
"Ok!" I screamed over their voices and I took off chasing.
The snake went around a narrow jam between two storage rooms. It will be hard for you but no problem for me! I'm skinny! (like my family says or you can say complains?)But I only found an unmoving snake that looked a bit odd. I showed it to her and she burst(这小家伙真会用词) into tears.
“Don't worry, I 'll take you to the pet store.”I said in a hurry. We walked together toward the pet store. After showing it to the owner, she told us it was just skin.
"Then where's the snake? The snake needs skin." I inquired.
     "It shed it's skin."She answered.
"Then that means the snake is running around with no skin!"I exclaimed.
"No, no, not like that. The snake sheds its skin when it already grew new skin."she corrected.
"Then what's this skin for if it always grows new skin?"I asked.
"The snake needs different sizes."She answered. But I don't give up questioning easily.
"Then it needs this skin, like what if it shrinks?"I grinned.
"Huh?" she said as starting to get confused. Huh, this makes no sense.
"Well, lets go find that snake!" Chris said.
They had to beg me again because I am a very experienced climber and a good detective. I took out a old camera and started taking pictures, "Later we can compare then."
One of my pictures looked a bit odd! I climbed on the roof of a storage room and took out a microphone and hold it out while the earphone in my ear. I heard something odd! Hisss... I poked my finger into the storage room. I felt something odd! I poked my nose into a hole in a log. I smelled something odd! Then, I compared the picture to the ground. Something was different. Then, I compared sound, Something was different. After I compared touch. Something was different. Lastly, I compared smell. Something was different. The ground, window, roof, and log has proven guilty. Then I sat down at a tree, thinking! This snake grew a lot! Four places at once! I felt jelly on my cheek. My tongue went out to lick it. Some weird taste swept across my tongue. The tree also proven guilty! Then, something moving caught my eye. It was the snake! It wasn't that big. It climbed up a tree. The tree was humongous! But I climbed after it as my friends(plus one girlfriend) cheered for me. I thought I heard music playing, the kind in video games when the good guy comes to save the world. I wasn't up to save the world but to save the girl's pet. I finally caught up at the top. I laid down my arm and the snake went on my arm. The snake looked down and curled up scared. I pulled off a branch and smacked it into the tree. Errch! It brought me down like an elevator.
The snake was home at last!
      (The End!)
