在HK电台节目中听到“曼陀罗”里的金句。“曼陀罗”的梵语是Mandala，源自藏传佛教中的图腾，也是将知识转变成实际可用的思考法。<br />

达赖喇嘛针对2005年锁发表的19则智慧语言。(可只找到以下八句)<br />
1.要考虑到，浓烈爱情与丰收伟业都蕴含着极大的风险。<br />
2.即使失败了，也别错过其中的教训。<br />
3.遵守3个原则：尊重自己；尊重别人；为个人一切行为负责。<br />
4.别忘了，塞翁失马，焉知非福。<br />
5.先弄懂规则，才会知道该如何适切地打破绳规。<br />
6.别让小小的争执伤害到深层的关系。<br />
7.发现自己犯了错的时候，立即采取补救措施。<br />
8.每天花点时间独处.</P>

在翻译过程中确实增长了知识，对比国内的标志设计，外国的设计师无疑又走在我们前面许多。当我们还在可以模仿的时候，他们正在尝试创新。<br />

　　08年的百事可乐过的并不舒心，前不久刚宣布大规模裁员，最近又要在全球换新的品牌标志。看来，全球金融危机对百事的影响也不小。<br />

<br />
　　另外一点，笔者始终对大多数专家认可的百事可乐和可口可乐的文化持怀疑态度。并不因为笔者是fq,也不是狭隘的民族自大。而是笔者发现大多推崇两乐文化的以学院派的人居多，或者是策划界、咨询界的多。其实，如果你跟销售一线的人聊天，很少有人关心这些，否则未战先怯，还不如趁早辞职。<br />

<br />
　　百年的汽车企业，曽经全球的第一大企业，百年的银行和投行，该破产照样破产。你觉的这些企业没有文化？<br />
<br />
　　如果，企业的经营得失和营销成败，可以只用一个词概括，那也太简单了，人人都可以成为大企业家了，或者是大理论家了。<br /></FONT><br />

<p ALIGN="left"><font COLOR="#9900FF">应该承认，两乐代表着美国文化的一部分，那么，本土饮料也不用怕，大家要做的是运用中国传统文化的精髓与之一战。<br />

　　百事可乐公司日前宣布，将投入12亿美元，三年内在全球推广全新品牌以及包括新品牌标识。虽然在国内主流媒体对百事换标的事件还没有大量报道，但是在其北美本土已经是炒作的沸沸扬扬了。<br />

<br />
　　百事公司于上月发布了他们的全新标志，百事笑脸。这是继百事2002年改版之后最新的一次更新。此次标志
是由全球最大广告集团之一的Omnicom旗下的Arnell分公司花5个月时间设计的。据了解这也是百事公司自成立以来第11次换标志
。新标志可能将在全球范围内，从2008年底或者2009初开始应用。</FONT></P>

，中央白色带弧形会因不同产品而有不同的角度。Diet Pepsi 和Pepsi
Max会采用小写字体。而同为百事旗下的产品佳得乐品牌形象也将重新设计，会更加注重品牌自身，并突出佳得乐（Gatorade）中的“G”。百事公司的首席营销官Dave
Burwick在讨论更改百事包装瓶会议上说：“如果我们不迅速改变，我们有可能成为一个历史的脚印。”<br />
<br />
　　至于什么时候才能推出最新包装的百事饮料，百事给出的时间是今年年底或是2009年年初。<br />
<br />
　　百事可乐公布的三季度报告显示百事可乐第三季销售盈利衰退9%，下调第四财季盈利预期，并且在宣布全球裁员3300人。在美国金融危机席卷全球的背景下，这个新的“微笑”标志是否暗示着百事在金融危机蔓延的今天仍对未来前景持乐观态度。同时这一举措能否为之带来更多的经济收益，这恐怕要大家试目以待。<br />

　　但是，可以预测明年百事可乐一定会在品牌新标志的推广上不遗余力，并出台相关的整合营销传播手段以配合，在全球范围内对可口可乐和其他的饮料厂商展开一场攻击战。</FONT></P>

<p ALIGN="left"><font COLOR="#9900FF">而且，从这次新的标志图案来看，百事的品牌战略发生的改变其实暗藏玄机。<br />
<br />
　　之前都是大一统的品牌标志，这种情况也是最简单的，只要确定下最后是哪一个标志图案就可以了，在宣传推广上比较好发力。<br />
<br />
　　而现在采用不同的品牌标志，这种情况要复杂很多了，变数也多。<br />
<br />
　　Diet Pepsi 其实是采用的主副品牌标志策略，Pepsi为主，Diet为副，在品牌的传播上变化不会很大。但是对于Pepsi
Max，其实是采用的担保品牌标志策略。这里的主品牌是Max，Pepsi只是以企业品牌出现来起到担保的作用。Pepsi
Max的标志起微笑的开口更大，被很多人称为“邪恶的微笑”（增加的内容：——Max的诉求主打是低热量的健康可乐概念，因此会让消费者更开心！所以新标志自然也就笑口开的大很多）。其针对的目标消费者一定会更加叛逆不拘，一定也更注重对自我的释放，比较适合采用生活形态营销的方法，当然，这种方法的运用难度和成本都更高。百事接下来应该会在内部对人力资源和营销架构做一些小的调整。<br />

<br />
　　每个分公司至少要增设一两名品类经理了，下面可能再设多几个品牌专员或助理。因为百事是按照品牌群来设经理的，一个品牌群一个经理。换标表面是为顺应消费者的求新和更时尚的趋势，但实际上可以进而通过本次换标来整合旗下产品线，以全新的形象冲击可口可乐盘踞的全球市场，抢夺更多的年轻消费者的市场份额。这从旗下max、佳得乐等子品牌的视觉更新可见一斑。<br />

<br />
　　如果笔者估计没错，接下来，百事推广的侧翼重点会放在百事轻怡、佳得乐和max上，传统的百事可乐是正面阵地战式的猛攻，而其他是从侧翼来攻击。<br />

<br />
　　所以，换标是跟新一轮的品牌战略和大规模的品牌推广运动分不开的。接下来，新一轮的可乐大战将会不断精彩上演，又有好戏看了！<br />
　<br />
　　<strong>二．历史回顾——百年征程，十次换标</STRONG><br />
　　<br />
　　其实从百事可乐的百年历史来看，其已经换过十次标志了，加上这次是第十一次了。是可口可乐换标次数（五次）的两倍多。<br />
<br />
　　其实，百事可乐的标识从推出百事品牌就一直受到可口可乐的影响，一直维持了半个世纪之久，直到1960年代起的新标识才逐渐摆脱可口可乐的影响。从这个时期开始，百事的标志中毅然抛弃“cola”字样，只保留“pepsi”,
并使字体设计得更时尚，更显活力。<br />
<br />
　　与此同时，百事在同一时期发起的“百事新一代”的品牌推广运动，有力的抢夺了可口可乐的市场分额。<br />
<br />
　　PEPSI标识越变越青春化、越时尚化，这与PEPSI所坚持针对的目标消费者群的细分策略分不开的，PEPSI一直坚持其产品的消费对象为年青人，所以其标志随时代的变化而变化。<br />

　　相信不久的将来，百事还会再次换标。</FONT></P>

　　短期之内的影响，笔者认为首先肯定还是正面和积极的为主。<br />
<br />
　　第一，起码通过换标以及大规模的品牌推广活动的出台，短时间内一定会鼓舞全公司上下的士气。当一个销售人员，在一线工作时，每天都能看见公司的电视、报纸、户外广告宣传的支持，杂志和网络的软文炒作，终端陈列的生动化展示，工作起来会是多么的有自豪感。许多同行的销售人员，甚至最大竞争对手的一线业务，都会关于换标的话题跟你聊两句，并投过来羡慕的神情。<br />

<br />
　　甚至很可能可口可乐的一个业务私下告诉百事的业务：“兄弟，我昨天冒着被开除的危险，买了一瓶你们的新包装饮料来尝，味道好象真的跟以前不同，你们以后奖金肯定多过我们！”这些利好因素之下，你认为百事的业务人员能不骄傲和拼命工作吗？<br />

<br />
　　第二．市场分额在短期内的提升。鼓舞士气、振奋军心之后，这时再把早已计划好的高销量目标分解下来，大家自然都很开心的接受了。就算比去年的目标还高，经济环境也不如以往，但一鼓作气，先把货多铺点下去，而且产品线更丰富，短期内塞满终端的货架和经销商的仓库是没有问题的。头几个月，消费者也一定会因为好奇而纷纷购买换新包装后的百事。<br />

<br />
　　当然，也有少数业内人士认为对这次换标百事会有些许不利的影响：因为从平民到总统，从美洲到亚洲，换标后的变化多端的百事标志对众多层次的消费群而言并非一件好事，而且相对于以往消费群认识百事，换标后的认识难度会大大增加，消费群可以顺利的对旧形象进行识别，并十分肯定的确认“这就是百事”，而新的产品包装使得人们在识别的时间和难度上都大大增加，这些难度的增加将导致不确定性，很可能会打击品牌的“信任度”。<br />

<br />
　　这一点，笔者个人认为，凭借百事的强大的品牌推广能力和教育消费者的能力，随着时间的流逝，上述观点的担心的问题会逐步得到解决，多则半年，少则几个月，年轻一代的消费者就可以很容易的认知百事的新标志和包装了。<br />

　<br />
<strong>　　案例对比：</STRONG><br />
<br />
　　从对比角度来说，还是举可口可乐的中国换标事件为例了。<br />
<br />
　　2003年2月，在可口可乐位于上海的中国总部，随着新商标揭幕按钮的启动，厂房外墙上披盖的红色帷幕急速滑落后，23年没有变化的可口可乐中文新标志终于露出“庐山真面目”。<br />

<br />
　　变化过的新标志让人眼前一亮，感觉相当具有现代气息，更加富有动感效果。尽管保留了可口可乐视觉商标中专有红色、用斯宾瑟字体书写的白色英文商标、弧形瓶及波浪形飘带图案等基本元素，但新标志在红色背景中加入了暗红色弧形线，增加了红色的深度和动感，并产生了多维的透视效果。<br />

<br />
　　同时，斯宾瑟字体书写的白色英文商标套上了一层银色边框从而更加清晰、醒目。原来单一的白色“波浪形飘带”也演变为由红、白、银色组成多层次多颜色的飘带。此外，原来商标上的弧形瓶图案也改为“气泡弧形瓶”。<br />

<br />
　　而新商标最大的变化则体现在中文标志上。当时可口可乐重金聘请了香港著名广告设计师陈幼坚设计出全新流线形中文字体，与英文字体和商标整体风格更加协调，取代了可口可乐自1978年重返中国市场后一直在使用的中文字体。而这也是可口可乐中文标识在中国20多年来的第一次全新设计。<br />

　　　　<br />
　　“我们改变的不仅是标志，也是我们与消费者的一种新的沟通方式”。对于此次推出的可口可乐新标志，可口可乐中国区公司总裁包逸秋表示，期望能藉此为消费者带来耳目一新和富有时代创新的感觉。<br />

<br />
　　事实上，可口可乐在全球几乎每过十几年就会对商标进行一些修改和更新，以适应不断变化着的市场口味。在中国的变更商标也是其在美国率先发起的全球更换商标等市场推广计划中的一环。<br />

<br />
　　当年，换标后的可口可乐的全国市场的占有率提高了近3个百分点。广州市场的变化尤其典型，新包装推出之后，可口可乐在广州的销售额居然同比增长28％。<br />

<br />
　　通过广告投放量之外的营销战术的调整来刺激消费者需求的做法事实上可口可乐早已经不是第一次尝试了，有一年可口可乐甚至取消加拿大市场全年的广告预算，用省下来的钱改换包装。这样的原因在于，公司从数据调查获知，阻碍产品推广的不是广告的到达率，而是平庸的包装。<br />

<br />
　　所以，在更换包装和标志后的短期内的第一年，百事的市场份额是几乎确定可以提升的，当然，是在价格体系不变的情况下，如果价格体系变动，另当别论。<br />

　<br />
<strong>　　四．长远预测——品牌换标，喜忧参半</STRONG><br />
<br />
　　但是从长期的影响和作用来分析，就要复杂很多了。短期的影响容易预测判断，长期的影响和作用分析起来就难度大很多了。<br />
<br />
　　一般来说，一个好的标志对品牌塑造有以下几个作用：<br />
<br />
　　1.增加品牌的信赖感和识别度<br />
<br />
　　在品牌视觉识别要素中，标志是核心要素。标志是指那些造形单纯、意义明确的统一、标准的视觉符号，一般是品牌的文字名称、图案记号或两者相结合的一种设计。标志具有象征功能、识别功能，是品牌形象、特征、信誉和文化的浓缩，一个设计杰出的、符合品牌理念的标志，会增加品牌的信赖感和权威感，在社会大众的心目中，它就是一个组织或品牌的代表。<br />

<br />
　　2.便于对品牌的理解和记忆<br />
<br />
　　无论用什么方法设计的标志，都应力求形体简洁。形象明朗，引人注目，而且易于理解和记忆。优美精致，符合美学原理，是一个成功标志所不可缺少的条件。造型美是标志的艺术特色，设计时应把握一个“美”字，使符号的形式符合人类对美的共同感知；点、线、面、体四大类标志设计的造型要素，在符合形式规律的运用中，能构成独立于各种具体事物的结构美感。美好的标志，是使其独立并区隔于其它标志的必要条件，也便于消费者的对该品牌内涵的理解，自然更容易记忆。<br />

<br />
　　3.体现品牌的精神文化价值，增强亲和力，吸引消费者购买<br />
<br />
　　从这个角度来说，品牌标志如果不能与时俱进，那么，它对新一代消费者的吸引力的确会弱很多。而百事的品牌战略又恰好决定了它必须不断的进行品牌标志的更新，以活化品牌，吸引新生代的消费群。（增加内容）百事表面上的变实质是为了据以安身立命的不变——聚焦新一代，激情时尚地拥抱未来，感召所有年轻人以及感到自己年轻的人！</FONT></P>

<p ALIGN="left"><font COLOR="#9900FF">所以，标志的设计并不是一劳永逸的事情，时代在变，社会在进步，消费者的观念和行为也在变化中，标志自然需要不断更新来满足消费者的变化。当然，要想扭转品牌在消费者心中的形象，光依靠更换标识是远远不够的。品牌标识只是品牌工程中的一个的组成部分，一个品牌的形象更新和重新定位，不在于品牌标志是否更换，不在于广告、公关是否改变。其关键在于品牌能否重新找回消费者需求的原点，关键在于品牌所提供的物质功能需求和精神文化需求能否再次满足消费者。如果品牌的核心价值无法再次得到消费者的肯定，那么所有一切的外在改变都将是徒劳无益的。<br />

<br />
　　品牌保持活力的唯一办法，就是需要企业密切注意消费者在物质功能需求和精神文化需求的细微变化。千万不要等品牌无法再满足消费者的需求而开始老化时再采取措施。<br />

<br />
　　笔者最敬佩的市场营销学泰斗之一的泰德?李维特在《营销近视病》一文中说过一句话：“根本没有所谓的成长行业，只有消费者的需要，而消费者的需要是不断变化的。”百事无论怎么换标也好，都只是品牌外在的改变，如果产品的内在既品牌的核心价值不能满足消费者日益增长的对健康、营养的需求，市场分额的下降也是不可避免的。<br />

<br />
　　百事的老对手——可口可乐对全球消费者会定期进行一至两年的跟踪调查,了解对其口味和可口可乐包装的需求,最终决定是否换包装。可口可乐完全出于“惯性”,每隔一段时间,就进行一次新标的尝试。<br />

<br />
　　一方面，对于可口可乐和百事来说,更换新标识也是一件既有诱惑性又冒险的事。诱惑之处在于,两乐需要不断迎合新新消费者的审美趣味,保持时尚。两乐也自然更愿意把换标事件当作营销卖点去激活消费者和市场。说冒险,是因为如果新标识不被消费者接受,不但白花了大把的银子,还会直接影响销售。<br />

<br />
　　另一方面，很多专家认为两乐已经将营销当作传奇来写了。认为两乐在引领潮流，丰富文化。最重要的是，两乐促使消费者持续关注，使消费者认同两乐为“生活的一部分”、“自己的一部分”、“乐趣的一部分”，这已经上升为文化和市场战略的层次，不仅仅是手段和营销战术了！<br />

<br />
　　综合起来，对百事这次的换标的长远影响，笔者还真不好判断其成败得失，只能说喜忧参半，前途未卜。</FONT></P>
