四天三夜如烛光跳动，像手指轻弹转瞬而逝。Dan说这里一年有300天都是阴雨，是因为这里群山环绕。可矛盾的是如果没有这些雪山，也无人会去留意这里令人观止的机理。到了晚上，只能溺于潮湿的灯光，提笔在纸上乱画。我觉得西雅图像极了纽约，无论哪里，都能让你享受孤单。不过这里中国人好多，这是唯一在阴冷的湿气里能够得到欣慰的地方。在机场买中餐，收钱的看到信用卡，不禁问道“中国人？”我点点头，拿过收据，微笑道谢。第二天去看了红叶。漫山遍野。我不得不承认UWashington 比austin好看。时密时疏的云让阳光变得奢侈，建筑就像被一缕光轻轻搂着，用锋利的轮廓衬托色彩斑斓的树。次日我又第一次亲眼见到那么大的雪山，像一片怒海，催动死气沉沉却又躁动的冰川。当然天气有如往常一样，乌云密布，站在天池一侧可以感到冰冷的水气凉到骨髓。不过我运气比较好，云雾散去了5分钟，让我一睹Mountain Ranier全貌。感谢Meng, Jacy，Dan 俺一手毁了你们的周末。^_^ next time it will be on my treat.

丹佛很美，除了空气稀薄让人犯困，没有什么别的我不习惯的地方。在这里实习运气还不错，公司给了一很舒服的地方歇脚，而且只离公司3分钟走路的距离。然后， 不幸感冒一次，怕是猪流感，所以打的去一个很远的医院检查了,只是普通感冒。郁闷的是，回来发现离我这两个block就有一个医院- -。。。另外，这里马路对面有各种各样的餐馆， 还有一个小超市， 如果奋力走30分钟呢。。。就有一个类似沃尔玛的大超市。生活上来说实在太方便了。

今天我去了丹佛艺术博物馆， 很奇怪的是这里只有每个月的第一个礼拜六才免费。这房子可是Daniel那个什么liberskin..??设计的，乱七八糟的体块放在一起。我个人而言，牛逼的不是设计，而是施工。Architecturally speaking 况且很多人都在学这种乱七八糟的风格。。。我个人非常鄙视。。。。因为这种模型实在太好做了。。。。如果是为了求新鲜呢。。。现在也过时了- -

已然实习了3个礼拜。。。大地方和小地方确实不一样。记得在上海实习那阵， 老板就坐在后面，天天督着你干这干那。。。。但是在这里。。。可能也是因为老板出差了。。我就几乎是游手好闲过来的，，做作PS。。室内渲染， 。。还参与了很多美工的工作。下礼拜一大BOSS回来，希望有更多的事情可以做。

难得如此长假，还算丰富多彩。一年之前正在一边筹备签证，一边骂某个规划原理老师。我非常想念在武汉上海的日子，那里有好吃的，好玩的，有汤姆熊。还有个性迥异的弟兄们可以打伙腐败.记得实习那段每天很晚回家。在人民广场下地铁，看到灯红酒绿的马路对面，人群里那些不一样的面孔，心里纳闷着，会有多少个不一样的世界。现在却也很块发现，我早已离开了那些熟悉的颜色和味道。

这边的东西其实依然相对陌生。好的过分的空气和阳光，车流滚滚的街道对比着星星点点的行人，友善的homeless会老冲你唱歌要钱（我心里想，你们这么好口语。。去新东方肯定很赚钱。）

这边的设计课，其实压力并不大。很自由，看自己努力。studio因为是混合的，参差不齐，有工作好多年的人，也有比我小很多的本科生。不过在学院的那种诡异氛围下，竞争依然激烈。工作个性也很分明，有人一开局就崭露头角，有人静观其变，有人只是在默默做自己喜欢的事。区别是这个学期的老师比上学期要温和很多。

前几天我见识了six flag...原来是和disney某些部分一个级别的游乐场，我的结论是以后不再感冒过山车了- -坐多了太累。不过sixflag没有城堡，没有喷火龙。。没有那么奇幻的烟火。我记得以前从爱丽丝梦游仙境一直看到狮子王，和吴小天同学以前每个假期都要去看disney pixar or dreamwork whatever...
电影情节总是很简单，但是它们总能唤起一种挺简单的快乐。好人很傻很可爱，坏人很丑很笨。在看电影的时候，不用去担心什么，只有阳光和生命。所以，我很想有朝一日能够身临其境。

暑假我要带设计课，也就是说，我要和大一时候碰到的老师一样，开始忽悠学弟学妹。呵呵，enjoy.

the internet in my room is never gonna make it here...so I think this time I'll update a little bit in the lab.

 

On Wednesday I got a call from Fentress Architects for an interview over the phone. Later they offered me a position of summer intern with 11bucks/hr plus accomondation, which is great. I will be doing modeling and animation for a part of newly developed airport in Los Angeles.

 

1hr later, I received an email notifying me that I can be the TA for two Design courses during summer, a little bit overwhelmed ...- -how lucky I am you'd say...I will teach a bunch of new architectural students about the basic principles of perspective, physical modeling, conceptual development(which is wholy eye hole)

 

and even better news is that these two issue is a perfect match, which is hard to explain. Briefly speaking, I have to take a 3 credit course during summer in order to be an TA, and meanwhile I could register for a 3 credit "intern course" that allowed me to work outside campus as well as being a full time student. Damn it....i must have spent most of my RP on this and I should be careful of the coming unlucky events.

 

In short I will do the TA for Design I, and Visual Communication I during the first session of the summer, and then doing internship till the end of August.

 

I'll try my best during summer.^_^thanks so much for the support from my family and April, also the magic lucky trick by Koya.
