很快我到了考大学的时候了，家里为了我这black sheep 煞费苦心，光各科家教就请了四个，为之付出的人力，财力，精力就更别说了。就这样，我幸运的考上了大学。也许是老天给了我一次接受高等教育的机会吧，也许就像我自己想的一样：调皮的孩子虽然烦人，但绝对不笨。所以我坚信自己是聪明的。

我读的是一所知名的外语院校，可以说进去的都是straight A 学生，刚开始自己还跟的上，但没过多久就发现自己与其他同学有了差距。着急，沮丧，压力压的自己喘息不过来。借酒浇愁，愁更愁啊！

终于一天我想通了：这个年头不能唉声叹气，唯有努力奋斗才能成就自己。今天可以平凡，可以默默无闻，都不能懒散，放纵！

现在有许多年轻人把颓废，无聊，郁闷天天挂在嘴边，吃得好，穿得暖，但每天好像还忧心忡忡，唉声叹气。这其实完全是一种态度问题。学习首先要的就是态度！中国足球队为什么老输？老米卢说了：态度决定一切。中国足球就是总抱着想赢怕输的态度踢着唯唯诺诺的足球。与其天天郁闷的苟且残存，不如拿出壮士断臂的冲天气势来挑战自己。

从那天后，我戒掉了颓废，学会了积极。我给自己制定了一套如何crack English 的方案，但更重的是严格地执行stick to it，not only some overwhelming words. 从自己生活的点点滴滴开始。从不睡懒觉开始，从不推迟该做的当日之事开始。我到现在还记得我在自己那伤痕累累的书桌上写下的一句话：Never put off until tomorrow for what can be done today(今日之事今日做)。

听力以前是我在大学的一大痛处。为了征服听力，我每天坚持四个小时的听力时间，那时的复读机还只能复读几十秒，于是我就手动倒带，一遍不行，就两边，两边不行就三遍，实在不行就十遍，直到听懂为止。最后第一个复读机就这样被按的弹簧都失效了。复读机是坏了，但我的听力却如涨停板的股票一样节节高升，值了！真值了！有了成就感的刺激，人就会上瘾。我坚持练习听力，但却出现了瓶颈阶段，觉得没有什么进步了。于是变寻找根源。最终发现了，原来是自己发音的不准确影响了自己的听力。这回终于体验了听说不分家的道理。如full or fool, run or wrong, vary or very, rare or real, ship or sheep ,7 teenagers or seventeen ager??

最终还总结出了听力精听四遍法，对从根本上改变听力水平有很大的提高。还有在实践中总结出来的一些听力技巧。如听力中数字题的代表：时间题。很多同学对数字题不敏感，于是很怕数字题。其实举个简单的列子：10：20 在recording中常念成：20 past 10。那么这时只要把你听到的20 past 10调到过来就是正确答案。试试 5 past 4是几点？

  由此看来，学习在基础熟练的程度上就会产生技巧。而技巧呢，那绝对是建立在基础上的。所以without a solid foundation, you can’t go far!

对于每个同学来说，每一次考试就是一个milestone！特别是像雅思，托福等这种出国留学考试，如果你在最短的时间发挥了自己最大的潜能，毫不夸张地说：你的人生往前迈了一大步。你即将开始一次新的人生经历！这一次虽然是雅思考试，却会给你带来质的改变！

  为什么会这样说呢？

These answers improve as you go from Answer a to Answer e.  Answer b adequately answers the basic question (yes or no) but gives no extra detail. For most of you reading this page, Answer d is a good enough model to aim for but Answer e, a Band 8/9 level reply, is even better!
