开场作品，8GG的互动装置。通过大屏幕前的摄像头采集观众身上的颜色，随着镜头前颜色的变化，屏幕上也随之幻化出动态的色彩，同时引发一连串的声音效果。

应亮的短片，四川自贡的一个篮球基地有很多出色的少年球手，但资金非常匮乏，他们甚至没有钱参加省里的比赛，这是一个关于一个男孩篮球梦想的故事。

窗口里原来装的是Dunk的经典款式。
 
随处可见的Dunk鞋，筐里白色的Dunk任由大家拿着画笔涂鸦出自己的风格。观众席上安插了Dunk经典款式和纪念款式的展区，鞋就放在这样的水晶盒子里。上空也挂上了Dunk，观众也可以把自己涂过的Dunk甩到绳子上挂起来。

画面还是有点不齐。
Aaajiao的作品将由两位Dancer来表现，他在向这位女舞者解释这双鞋的运作原理。
男生已经跳起来了。到现场时他的背后会是随着步伐而动的画面。
彩排到下午6点钟结束，一位老人无意间走进了这个展场，久久不离开，不知道是迷路了还是对这个展览也颇有兴趣。

到达展场1918艺术空间的门口，看到门口以经竖起了展览入口，展墙上的玻璃嵌窗上写着Dunk,看样等下要添进去什么。工人们在门口准备这次展览最重要的布展材料之一：钢板，将被用于构架整个展览空间。

大大的窗口透出Dunk的字样，喧闹的施工引来了附近的居民。


看看钢板被放在了哪里。制作工人很辛苦，登高作业是家常便饭。大屏幕已经竖起来了，大的框架已经弄好。

开始大屏幕的调试工作，这次展览的所有作品都在大屏幕上表现，除了Aaajiao的作品是一个画面占满整屏，其他都是由四个横向排列的画面来表现。

画面拼接中，现在还有很大的空隙。


展场的左侧有观众席，中间是空地，站着，坐着都可以。本来是想设计成一个封闭的剧院，让观众有组织的观看，但Nike方面希望保证现场气氛的活跃，于是展场改成开放性很强的一个空间。

中间的几个大柱子就保留它的本来面目。

看出牟比乌斯环了吗？被弯折了三次。大屏幕上在做矩阵，以保证四个小画面完美得连在一起。

欧宁在现场。正在和制作公司的人商议工作。

这一天的工作很紧张，民工师傅们在难得的休息时间内迅速入睡。而我们在完成了今天的彩排后也不敢松气，28日晚上8点开幕之前，还有两场彩排。

这就是改装后的其中一双Dunk鞋，电脑上是他设计的程序控制的Google Earth 画面，Aaajiao正弯曲鞋子模拟行走时的效果，来观看程序的反应程度。鞋舌中隐藏着精密的传感器，通过弯曲产生信号。




一边测试，一边现场修改程序。

靠近看看。固定在鞋边的黄色盒子里面也藏着秘密机关。


打开来，原来里面是信号放大器，由5号电池驱动，作用是放大传感器发出的信号。放大器和传感器都是专门在国外定做的。国内这方面技术还有待加强。


信号接收器，接收放大后的信号再传递到电脑程序，Google Earth就会跟随观众的脚步移动，放大，开始神奇之旅。

从重庆到自贡约三个半小时车程。长途车站的小餐馆老板热情地向我和聂征介绍自贡的三绝：盐，灯，恐龙。在踏上这个小城的土地之前，我只知道那是应亮和彭姗生活和拍电影的地方。我曾在他们的三部长片中看过这个城市：《背鸭子的男孩》、《另一半》和《好猫》。



穿城而过的釜溪河，岸边还有一些盐井的遗迹，一些人家世代在此聚居。低矮的屋舍，父亲在厨房里忙乎，儿子刚刚放学归来，屋前摆着小桌子，女孩儿伏在上面写作业，小城的生活氛围扑面而来。我和老聂坐在一个迎河的露台上，说些旧事新知，等着应亮他们忙完电影道具后来接我们吃饭。



河边的闲人。我用小相机拍着，老聂则藏起了他的大相机。他生怕它侵犯了他人的生活。十年前和他合作《北京新声》之后，他拍的人和事也算多了，而今仍抱着一种摄影师的伦理原则。他从不和其他摄影师斗狠。



一个理发店。现实在这里撑大了它的张力。它一直在那儿，浑然不知时光流逝，却想不到有一天会被一个镜头攫取。



自贡凉高山小学。这是应亮拍摄《我爱湖人》的一个主要场景。开阔的操场，寂寂的校舍，猎猎的红旗，充满电影感。



凉高山小学是四川省少儿篮球训练基地，这里的孩子打起球来特别生猛。应亮在这里找到了《我爱湖人》的小男主角。

在07年在建外SOHO一次偶遇中，我才知道老聂原来是个Sneaker Culture的专家，他收藏球鞋由来已久。这是为什么我这次找他一起拍照片的原因之一。在Nike Dunk本身的“古着”风格的基础上，应亮的电影要进一步把这双Nike Dunk做旧。这时老聂就发挥了一个专家的作用。我们都对自贡兴奋不已，结果放松了我们身体上的警惕，最后都染上了腹泻（可能与在车站小店匆忙吃的香碗有关），回到北京又同时得了感冒。

Remember, Not Forget

Sneaker Culture is like other pop stuff. It’s all about forgetting but not remembering. In the social chain of the circulation of production and consumption, only by removing people’s memory quickly can new exciting points be born. But Nike Dunk takes an opposite way. Its launch in 2008 is to remind people of the sense of honor and belonging from those loyal minds to their teams during the NCAA Basketball Tournaments in 1985 and 1986. That’s also when Dunk was born. The faster the society develops and the more frequently the trends change, the more precious old things seem to be. Vintage is not only a revolution of clothes, shoes and accessories but also an explosion of social thoughts and collective unconsciousness. Real Sneaker lovers are not only collectors of materials but also feelings. They research the history by material remains and point out the direction of future. 

 

To cooperate with artists has become Nike Dunk’s legend. By the help of their talents, Nike Dunk can increase the creative level of Sneaker culture continuously. A pair of shoes can break the material limit again and again and walk to a broader world of more possibilities. How Japanese people discover Nike Dunk is a typical cross-culture transformation. They read the west from eastern angle, bring up new points and pass them back to the west and finally lit up the popularity of Nike Dunk which gets today’s explosion of love to it. In 2008, or the Olympic year for China, what interactions will happen between Nike Dunk and China’s reality and society? What culture attachment can China’s artists provide to Nike Dunk? How can they develop Nike Dunk’s history? These are the questions I want to answer when organizing this exhibition.

 

As curator, first I want to have an innovation of the exhibition’s grammar. Nowadays, art exhibitions have large varieties and tons of mediums. However, in this exhibition for Nike Dunk in China, I want to go back to a single medium or type. Thus I invited the partner of Steven Holl Architects and his team from OPEN Architecture, an experimental studio to design a theatre with four screens lined up in the exhibition space in Shanghai. All the participant artists, no matter which field they come from, have to create their works by video media. Their works will be shown on the four screens in chronological order. The audience is also required to watch the works collectively to guarantee a certain time length of their exhibition experiences. The design of OPEN architecture not only meets this requirement but also connects the whole exhibition space by the format of a mobius strip, which also provides tricky exhibition guide to the audience.

 

Besides, in total, seven artist or artist groups were invited to create on the unified media platform and projecting equipments. Besides artists in mainstream cities like Beijing and Shanghai, I also invited director, designer and sound artist from Dalian, Zigong (Sichuan Province) and Hangzhou to make sure their works can touch a broader social space and deeper reality level in China. Gao Wendong, an independent film director who got selected by Berlin International Film Festival for his first long narrative film, organized a game of shooting basket for the residents in a slum neighborhood in Dalian. It comes out as a fast-speed experimental documentary to present in this exhibition. Another independent film director Ying Liang who is also active in international film events, filmed a story of a young basketball player in a local basketball training base in Zigong. Chen Feibo and Li Jian, the two graphic designers from Hangzhou cooperate with sound artist Li Jianhong, to show “omnipresent sports” by the format of Motion Graphics. Ray Lei from Beijing is only 22 years old. His animation is full of humor and fun, quite impressive. Shanghai senior artist Zhou Hongxiang use video installation to express his comprehension of basketball and skateboard games. Both from Beijing, new media artists 8GG and Xu Wenkai respectively designed their interactive installations which audience can get involved with.  

 

To explore the spiritual connections between Nike Dunk and China is the theme of the works of all this participant artists. In this country with fast growing economy and ambitious people, forgetting happens often. The emphasis of Nike Dunk: to remember, can be a very good reminder.

8GG is an artist group consisted of Fu Yu and Jia Haiqing. Both are China’ s leading new media artists. They were both born in 1971 and graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1994. Their works feature the interaction with audience by the help of technology. In 2006, their web concept project “Search Your Name” was the first online work the London ICA collected. In this special search engine, anybody who searches their names will find them become super stars with hundreds of thousands of results. In 2007, they had their V.I.P. room project displayed in Cornerhouse, Manchester's international centre for contemporary visual arts and film. The project let audience sit on enlarged computer keyboard, every time they sit down, the action will change the computer’s video play program so that “the story itself comes forth with unexpectable meanings”. The art work 8GG created for Nike Dunk “Be True” art exhibition, “the hearing memory related to colors”, sets up web cameras in certain places to catch and collect the colors from audience. Any color that matches with Dunk color system will lead to enormous chain reaction of screen colors and sounds. Thus every audience can possibly change the rhythm of video and sound, accompanied by the delicate change of lights, so that a spontaneous multimedia performance is formed.

 







 

Xu Wenkai, also known as aaajiao, is a computer visuals programmer, website designer and new media artist. He was born in 1984 in Xi’an but now lives Shanghai. In 2003, he founded cornersound.com , a sound art website. In 2006,he got inspiration from Régine Debatty’s blog “

we make money not art” and founded Chinese blog “we need money not art.” He is devoted to promote Processing, an open source software for visual programming, and Dorkbotbj, a non-profit intellectual organization for new media artists to communicate with themselves and the public. In 2006, he attended Chinese Blogger Conference; in 2007, he participated in DEAF 07, Shanghai eArts Festival and Get it Louder Exhibition. His work for Nike Dunk “Be True” art exhibition is based on the localization feature of Dunk shoes. It borrowed techniques from Wii and equipped Dunk shoes with Bluetooth controllers so that audience who wear these shoes can have a virtual walk on Google Earth. They become the controllers of the sound and video on spot. They are also players of the game. They can walk around the world in a second while getting to know the birth background of every Dunk shoes easily.


 

Chen Feibo, born in 1979 in Zhaoshan, Zhejiang Province. After he got a bachelor’s degree in fashion design, he switched to graphic design and got good performances. At the end of 2004, he founded Bobchen Graphic Design Office. In 2007, he became a partner and creative supervisor of BICO Brand. He works got selected by the 20th International Socio-political Poster Biennale, the 2nd Chinese International Poster Biennale, Get it Louder 07 and got collected by London V&A Museum. For the Nike Dunk “Be True” art exhibition, with another rising graphic designer, Li Jian, who is also from Zhejiang, he designed the visual part of Sports Everywhere, a motion graphics and sound art work. Oxidation, universe explosion, Inverse Proposition, the improvement of people’s living level…, all these are so called new sports. The concept of sports is broadened unlimitedly, and become one and another strong visual symbol exploded on screen. With thinking in a new angle, you will find the dull lessons can also be interesting. Li Jianhong, born in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, made the music for this work. He runs 2pi Records and organized 2pi Music Festival before. He is an important role in China’s experimental music. In October, 2004, he gave a performance in Nuit Blanche Art Festival in Paris and was praised by Zfbigniew Karkowski as “China’s best noise music artist”.



 

Gao Wendong, writer, independent film director. Born in 1973 in Dalian. His film Xihai City (2006) is a story happened in a small fishing village. A young guy from there sinks himself into the sea after his hometown is swallowed by the expanding economic development zone. The whole film is composed of a 30-minute-long single lens without any stop, very striking. The film was selected by Get it Louder 07 and became the beginning of his “Urban and Rural Trilogy”. The second one of the trilogy Sweet Food City was out in 2007. The background is the semi-slum area in a development zone in Dalian. It shows the life of the lowlifes, prostitutes, drifters …in this once-prosperous-but-now-deserted area. This film helped Gao Wendong get on the New Film Forum of the 58th Berlin International Film Festival. His 10-minute short film Nike Dunk at Sweet Food City continues to show the denizens of this decayed area: chefs, secondhand landlord, drifters, shop assistants….every denizen in Sweet Food City can get a chance for a shoot of the basketball by signing up. Those who shoot the ball into the net can get a pair of Dunk shoes as prize. The game is set up but what impacts and emotions Nike will bring to the residents there are authentic and unpredictable.  


 

Ray Lei, 22 years old, rising new generation animation artist with his hands on graphic design, illustration, short cartoon, graffiti and hip-hop music also. In 2005, he already founded design group “Raydesign Studio” when still in school and got the golden prize in Zongri Cup design competition. In 2007, he got a bachelor’s degree in animation from Qsinghua University and his animation THE FACE was awarded the Best Art Design in International Animation Festival. Another animation of his, Border Project , was shown in 2007 Shenzhen & HongKong Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism \ Architecture. He now continues his study as a graduate student in Qsinghua University. In his work for Nike Dunk “Be True” art exhibition, Moon Landing Plan, the launching process which is supposed to be serious becomes ridiculous due to the exaggerating and distortion of images. The leaders all got so drunk after they made their show before media. The moon landing plan seems more like a stunt. In the gloomy city, everybody is a maniac with a pear as their head. The spaceship is a huge pear also and threw itself into space by a big fart. The pear spaceman with Dunk shoes landed on the moon. One small step for him; one giant leap for mankind.



 

Li Hu, born in 1973, graduated from Qsinghua University in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Then he continued study in the US and got a master’s degree in architecture in Rice Univeristy. Since 2000, he has been working in Steven Holl Architects. From 2005, he became partner of its Beijing office and Asian projects. Huang Wening, born in 1973. In 1999, she got a master’s degree in architecture in Princeton University. From 1999 to 2006, she worked at Pei Cobb Freed Architects. As thinking exercise for free time, in 2002, the two founded OPEN Architecture in New York. Yang Chao, born in 1980, graducated from Sichuan Fine Art Institute in 2000. He used to work for Ai Weiwei and Zhu Pei before he joined OPEN Architecture. This time they work together to design the exhibition space for Nike Dunk “Be True” art exhibition. The design itself is a participant work for the exhibition also. The structure of the exhibition space is like a mobius strip. It got bended and folded to form a theatre-like exhibition space. It not only enlarges the scope of the audience but also the exhibition space. The mobius strip will direct the audience to move forward automatically. The audience will never get lost and when they reach the end they find they are back to the beginning again.


 

Ying Liang, born in 1977 in Shanghai, studied film in Fine Arts Department of Beijing Normal University and then got a bachelor’s degree in directing in Chongqing Film Academy. Such change of locations helps him thoroughly observe and understand the difference of economy, life styles and spirits between the east and the west, which is reflected in his works. In 2005, he made his first narrative long film Taking Father Home. It’s about a 17-year-old village boy who went to town to look for his dad who abandoned the family 6 years ago. The film cost less than RMB 100,000 to shoot but got great success internationally. It has won awards in five international film festivals including the Special Jury Prize of Tokyo FILMeX Film Festival (2005) and the SKYY award of San Francisco International Film Festival (2006). It also got shown in and collected by MoMA in New York. In 2006, his second long film The Other Half was out and has won awards in four international film festival including Jeonju International Film Festival (2007). His third long film Good Cats is just finished. The work Ying Liang takes to Nike Dunk “Be True” art festival is a 10-minute short film I Love Lakers, shot in Zigong, Sichuan Province. It’s about a boy who loves playing basketball gets trouble from both his alcoholic dad and teachers. His dream now faces challenges…



 

Zhou Hongxiang, born in 1969 in Dongtai, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from Fine Arts Department of East China Normal University and now teaches in Shanghai Normal University. He is very active in experimental video field with works widely recognized abroad. In 2002, his experimental film The Red Flag Flies got participated in New Territories part of Venus International Film Festival in 2002 and was nominated for the WERKLEITZ award in the 4th International Media Art Festival in Berlin. There is no story telling in this film, only the mixture of performers shouting slogans and symbolic images. This is a try of new film concepts and language from him and also the beginning of his search for new media art. He has participated in European media art festival from 2004 to 2007, the 9th Friesland Media Art Festival in Netherland and the 51st International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen. In 2007, his new media work in DEAF07, Chinese Portraiture planned over 30 screens on which the video can be initiated by audience. The work he made for Nike Dunk “Be True” art exhibition, Walking Time continues to use conceptual film language to have a new way to talk about the meanings of basketball and skateboard games.

不是遗忘，而是记取

欧宁

Sneaker文化和其它流行事物一样，它的本质是遗忘，而不是记取。在生产和消费循环反复的社会链条中，只有快速抹去人们的记忆，才能制造新的刺激点。Nike Dunk反其道而行之。它在2008年的登场，要人们记取的是1985-1986年全美大学生篮球联赛时那种忠诚于自己校队的归属感和荣誉感。那是Dunk诞生的时代。社会发展越快，潮流转换越频密，旧的东西越显珍贵。“古着”（Vintage）不仅是衣服、鞋子和饰物的革命，也是社会思想和集体无意识的喷发。真正的Sneaker爱好者不仅是物质的收藏家，更是感觉的采集者，他们通过物质遗存的蛛丝马迹来考证历史的来路，指出未来的去向。

与艺术家们合作已经成为Nike Dunk的传奇。借助他们的天才，Nike Dunk不断提升Sneaker文化的创意高度，让一双球鞋能不断突破其物质的界限，迈向一个更广阔的可能的世界。日本人对Nike Dunk的发现，是一次典型的跨文化转换，他们以东方的目光去读取西方，孕育出新的观点再回授西方，最后点燃了Nike Dunk的流行，形成今天的爆发。在奥运会即将在中国举办的2008年，Nike Dunk和中国的现实和社会可以有怎样的交叉感应？中国的艺术家们可以为Nike Dunk提供怎样的文化附着？他们可以为Nike Dunk的历史进行怎样的拓展？这是组织这次展览时我要回答的问题。

作为策展人，首先我要创新这个展览的语法。现在的艺术展览数量种类繁多，各种手法无所不用，而在这次Nike Dunk在中国的展览中，我却希望回归到单一的媒体和类型。因此我邀请了Steven Holl Architects的合伙人李虎和他的实验工作室“开放建筑”的团队，在上海的展场中设计了一个带有四个并列屏幕的剧场空间，所有参展艺术家不管他们来自何种领域,最后都要使用影像媒体进行创作，并在这个剧场中按时间顺序同时使用四个屏幕展出。观众也会被要求对作品进行集中观看，以保证观展体验的“历时性”。“开放建筑”的设计不仅满足了这一要求，更以牟比乌斯带的形式贯穿了整个展览空间，为观众提供了巧妙的导览暗示。

除此之外，共有七个艺术家和团体被邀请在这个统一的媒体平台和放映硬件的基础上进行创作。在地区分布上，除了北京、上海这些主流城市的艺术家，我还邀请了大连、四川自贡和杭州的电影导演、设计师和声音艺术家参展，以确保他们的创作能触及中国更广阔的社会空间和现实层面。刚刚以首部剧情长片入围柏林国际电影节的独立导演高文东在大连一个贫民社区组织了一场男女老幼参与的投篮比赛,最后剪辑成一部快节奏的实验纪录片参展；另一位活跃在各种国际影展上的独立导演应亮则拍摄了四川自贡某少年篮球训练基地的少年球手的故事。来自杭州的平面设计师陈飞波、李坚和声音艺术家李剑鸿合作,以Motion Graphic的形式表现“无所不在的运动”；北京的雷磊年仅22岁，他制作的动画幽默惹笑,令人刮目相看。上海的资深当代艺术家周弘湘以录像装置来表达他对篮球和滑板运动的理解；北京的新媒体艺术家八股歌和徐文恺分别设计了可以让观众参与的互动装置。

挖掘Nike Dunk与中国的精神联系，是这次所有参展艺术家的作品主题。在这个经济高速运转、人们倾力向前的国家里，遗忘其实是经常发生的事情。Nike Dunk强调的记取，也许算是一个很好的提醒。

八股歌是由富钰和贾海清组成的艺术团体，是中国新媒体艺术的佼佼者。他们同是1971年出生，又同是1994年毕业于北京师范大学。其作品善于借助科技来发展与受众的互动性。2006年, 其网络概念作品《搜索你的姓名》成为伦敦ICA收藏的第一件在线作品。在这个特殊的搜索引擎里，任何人搜索自己的名字，都会发现自己是个明星，拥有数以万计的结果。2007年在曼彻斯特Cornerhouse美术馆展出的《贵宾房》，可以让观众坐在放大的电脑键盘按键上，每次坐下都会改变电脑播放影像的程序，从而使“故事被碰撞出不可预料的意义”。八股歌为Nike Dunk“Be True”艺术展创作的作品《与颜色有关的听觉记忆》通过安置在展场不同位置的摄像头来捕捉和收集观众身上的色彩信息，只要与Dunk的色彩体系相吻合便能触发巨大的色彩连锁反应并转化为不同的音频信号，这样每一个观众都有可能改变影像和声音的节奏，配合微妙的光线变化，形成一场自发的多媒体表演。

 
徐文恺,又名aaajiao,复杂程序员, 新媒体艺术家。1984 年生于西安, 现居上海。2003年创办声音艺术网站cornersound.com。2006年他从Régine Debatty的博客we make money not art得到灵感，创办we need money not art中文博客。他热衷于推广Processing（一种开放源代码的图像编程软件），和非赢利智联组织Dorkbotbj以增加新媒体艺术家彼此以及与 受众之间的交流。2006年,参加中文网志年会；2007年，参加荷兰电子艺术节（deaf07）、上海电子媒体艺术节和大声展。他参加Nike Dunk“Be True”艺术展的作品针对Dunk鞋设计的地域性，借鉴了Wii的传感技术，设计出附有Bluetooth控制器的Dunk鞋。观众穿上后可以模拟在Google Earth上行走，成为现场声音和影像的控制者，又以游戏者的身份瞬间走遍全球，并轻松了解每双Dunk鞋的出生背景。

 
陈飞波，1979年生于浙江舟山，在拿到服装设计学位后，转身投入平面设计，并且成绩不俗。2004年年底成立陈飞波平面设计事务所，2007年成为集和品牌设计顾问合伙人之一和创作总监。其作品入选第二十届波兰华沙国际海报双年展，第二届中国国际海报双年展和2007大声展，并被伦敦V&A博物馆收藏。此次Nike Dunk“Be True”艺术展他 和另一位浙江本土的新锐平面设计师李坚共同设计了其参展作品《无所不在的运动》的视觉部分。氧化反应、宇宙大爆炸、逆命题、人民生活水平提升……，都是所 谓新运动。运动概念被无限扩大，并变成一个个强烈的视觉符号轰炸在屏幕上，随着换位思考，枯燥的学习课程也开始变得有料。担任配乐的是李剑鸿，也是浙江人 舟山人。他是第二层皮独立唱片（2pi Records）的主持并曾策划“第二层皮音乐节”，是中国实验音乐的最重要角色之一。2004年10月，李剑鸿在巴黎“白夜”（Nuit Blanche）艺术节演出，其后被国际声音艺术名人兹比格涅夫·卡科夫斯基称为“中国最好的噪音艺术家”。

 
高文东，写作者，独立电影导演。1973 年生于大连，其2006年作品《西海村》，讲述大连小渔村里的一个男青年在家乡被开发区吞没之后自沉于大海的故事，整部影片由长达30分钟的单镜头一气呵 成，震撼人心。该片入选2007年大声展，并成为其“城市三部曲”的开端。第二部《美食村》于2007年出炉，拍摄背景选在大连开发区中的破败的城中村, 展示了这个曾一度繁华但后来被弃置的城市贫民区的人生百态。该片将高文东送上了第58届柏林国际电影节的新电影论坛。本次10分钟短篇作品《Nike Dunk在美食村》继续在美食村开拍：厨师，二房东，无业游民，店员……美食村中的每位居民都可以通过报名获得一次投篮的机会，投中者可获得一双Dunk 鞋。游戏是既定的，而Dunk会给美食村的居民带来怎样的冲击和喜怒哀乐将在镜头前真实而又不可预料地展现。

 

雷磊，22岁，近年崛起的新生代动画设计师。涉猎的领域还包括平面设计、插图、短篇漫画、涂鸦和Hiphop音乐。2005年在校期间即组建设计团队 Raydesign Studio，并于同年获宗日杯设计大赛金奖，2007年于清华大学美术学院动画专业毕业。当年创作的动画《面》获得国际动画大赛最佳美术设计奖。动画 《边界计划》参加2007深圳香港城市建筑双城双年展。目前正攻读清华美院动画硕士学位。在他参加Nike Dunk“Be True”艺术展的作品《登月计划》中，本该严肃的发射过程在形象的异变和夸张中变得令人发笑。领导在媒体前表现完了个个酒醉，登月似乎只是个噱头。灰暗 的城市中，人人都是头上长个鸭梨的疯子。宇宙飞船也是一个大大的鸭梨，一个大屁把自己嘣上了天。穿着Dunk鞋的鸭梨宇航员登上了月球，他的一小步，就是 人类的一大步。



 
李虎，1973年生，1996年清华大学建筑学本科毕业后赴美国读书，1998年获莱斯大学建筑硕士，2000年起至今在Steven Holl Architects工作，2005年起任事务所合伙人负责北京办公室和亚洲项目。黄文菁，1973年生，1999年获普林斯顿大学建筑硕士，1999-2006年在Pei Cobb Freed Architects工作。作为一种业余思考锻炼，2002年起两人在纽约创建OPEN Architecture。杨超，1980年生，2000年毕业于四川美术学院，在加入OPEN Architecture之前，曾在艾未未工作室、朱培工作室工作。此次他们三个合作负责Nike Dunk“Be True”艺术展的展览空间设计，这个设计本身也是参展作品之一。展览空间结构如同一条牟比乌斯带，其辗转弯折形成了一个如同剧场的观展通道，既增加了观众的观看范围，又扩大了展览空间。牟比乌斯带自动引导观众前进，绝不会迷路，到终点时发现又回到起点。

 

应亮，1977年生于上海，在北京师范大学艺术系学习电影，后毕业于重庆大学电影学院导演系。这种地点的转换让他充分观察了东西部经济、生活方式和精神面 貌的差别，并在其作品中体现出来。2005年出品第一部长篇剧情电影《背鸭子的男孩》，讲述的就是一个17岁的农村男孩进城寻找背弃家庭6年的爸爸的故 事。该片总投资不到10万元，但在国际上取得巨大成功，获得了包括东京FILMeX国际电影节评审团大奖和旧金山国际电影节最佳影片SKYY奖在内的五个 国际电影节的重要奖项，被纽约现代美术馆（MoMA）放映及收藏。2006年他的第二部长片《另一半》获得了包括韩国全州国际电影节最佳影片奖等四个国际 奖项。第三部长片《好猫》也刚刚完成。应亮参加这次Nike Dunk“Be True”艺术展的是一部十分钟的短片《我爱湖人》，在四川自贡拍摄完成，讲述一个热爱打篮球的少年受到酒鬼父亲和学校老师的双重阻力，梦想面临挑战……



 
周弘湘，1969 生于江苏东台，1994 毕业于华东师范大学艺术系，现任教于上海师范大学。在实验影像领域非常活跃，作品在海外流传甚广。2002年实验影片《红旗飘》曾参加威尼斯国际电影节 New Territories单元, 并在2004年获得第四届柏林国际媒体艺术节评委会评出的WERKLEITZ大奖。影片中没有叙事，只有演员所喊的空洞的口号和象征性意象的交错。这是周 弘湘对创作一种新的电影观念和语言的尝试，也是他对新媒体艺术探索的开始。他还曾参与2004-2007年欧洲媒体艺术节，第9届荷兰Friesland 媒体艺术节，第51届德国奥伯豪森国际短片电影节等。2007年他在荷兰电子媒体艺术节（DEAF07）的参展作品新媒体作品《中国人像画》，运用30多块感应屏幕，由观众实时触发影像的变化。周弘湘本次参加Nike Dunk“Be True”艺术展的作品《行走的时间》继续使用概念化的影像语言，换一种方式讲述篮球和滑板运动的意义。
