    同时，心理专家程文红也赶赴绵阳，为灾区的群众特别是儿童提供情感急救和心理支持。本期《说东道西》将邀请Turner和程医师跟大家分享他们遇到的困难和感人事迹。

他们是如何在众多选人中脱颖而出最终成为2008北京奥运会火炬手的,奥运火炬手对他们在此次火炬接力中传承的使命和奥运精神有何诠释，四川汶川大地震后，奥运火炬手又是如何以自己的行动把奥运火炬的温情传递给灾区的人民，三位来自国际社区的奥运火炬手将讲述他们各自感人至深的故事，用手中的火炬点燃灾区民众的希望。

5月24日上海的火炬传递日，《说东道西》邀请了三位外籍奥运火炬手，他们分别是来自四季酒店的总经理Peter Weber先生，上海市荣誉市民 Simon MacKinnon先生，以及本次外籍火炬手中最年轻的Natasha Weaser，年仅15岁。

地震后的心理援助既是刻不容缓，又是一个长期的问题。Sammy将现场连线ICS驻当地记者，了解灾区群众目前的心理状况。心理学家史爱萍和Karen Cohen针对不同的受灾人群，分别进行心理指导和建议，并给出实际有效的解决方案。

本期《说东道西》节目Sammy将和大家一起聚焦志愿者—这个在四川汶川大地震发生后迅速行动起来的群体。节目特别邀请到了Sarah Lee和Richard Brubaker。一位是赶赴灾区支援的志愿者，一位是组织志愿者前往灾区的网络机构—“牵手成都”的负责人。Sarah是怀着怎样的心情踏上志愿者之路的，在这条路上她经历了什么，感动了什么，收获了什么。而作为志愿者招募人的Richard，对志愿者有怎样的要求，对自己的工作又如何评价。内容精彩，尽请锁定本期《说东道西》。
