LindenLab认为许多SecondLife居民并不了解他们在SecondLife中使用的银行比现实世界中的银行的风险大很多，尽管这些银行为居民们提供了比现实世界银行高出许多的利息，另外这些银行也没有得到LindenLab或其他什么机构或个人的有效监管。

Josh Catone在文章中提出了一个问题：这样的购物3D产品，怎么和基于web的购物网站竞争？Good Question！

 

除了有Kinset这样的专门购物网站，还有周六的OFBlog沙龙上吴青松提到的国内有一个做母婴产品的网站也在做3D产品，各种互联网应用的3D化正在成为诸多网站一个新的发展方向。似乎3D了就新潮了，3D了就能有明天。

 

类似Amazon的传统2D站点为用户提供了清晰的、海量的产品信息及照片，甚至有些站点为用户提供动态的3D产品展示，同时大量的网站在使用Adobe的Scene7为用户提供高质量的产品图片，这些都是Kinset不能比的。未来，在传统2D网站上的购物体验将更快，也能为用户提供更好的搜索体验以便快速找到自己需要的产品。同时，任何一个想架设3D购物站点的人（或公司）都可以很方便地在Second Life上实现Kinset所提供的各种功能。（小小广告一下：Novoking在未来也将面向这些人或公司提供类似服务）

 

那么，Kinset这样的网站还能有生存空间吗？作者没有给出答案，似乎谁都不能得出什么结论，无论是赞同还是反对。在这里我只说一下我不看好这类网站的一些原因，同样我只能提出问题，也无法给出答案：

1、3D互联网应用的一个最大的优势在于更直观的互动，我们可以用这条来拷问所有的3D产品，包括Novoking

2、3D产品的基础设施要求比web站点要高得多，这意味着什么，大家都知道

 

 

最后感谢郑专家在MSN上的提醒。我怎么就不明白了，这个家伙也在创业，同样忙得不可开交，怎么会有时间做如此大量的阅读，改天向这位工科专家请教一下。

 

    我也许真的无法想到“虚拟世界”会对现实世界产生什么样的影响。我们做Novoking的出发点很简单，就是觉得Novoking这样的东西，会给大家带来传统的基于文字、图片的互联网应用所不能带来的满足。在房子价格日益让我望尘莫及的现实中，我无法实现我的安家梦，那就在互联网上“安个家”表达一下自己的一个想像吧，就是从这样一些类似的简单需求出发，我们构思了这个Novoking。

    而AW描述的“虚拟世界SNS”的确是在一定程度上点明了Novoking的部分主题。互联网的应用往往喜欢先对一个具体的需求进行抽象，然后在互联网上按照自己的理解“创造”一个出来，结果往往是失败的（前段时间火爆的SNS纷纷偃旗息鼓就是个恰当的例子）。而Novoking所要做的是描述一个应用的基本环境，包括基本的、简单的规则，让那些我们已经发现或者没有发现的“应用”在虚拟世界中自然而然地发生。所以，Novoking所做的是把SNS放在功能的背后，只有这样SNS才能恰当地发挥它的作用。

    至于何砝所说的《本土化secondlife会流行，关键是何时？何地》，或许先知可以预测一些，但是谁都无法下结论，还是让时间来证明吧。

In 2027 Second Life evolves into Spirit. People become who they want. And share the memory, the experiences, the feelings. Memory selling becomes a normal trading. In 2050 Prometeus buys Place and Spirit. Virtual life  is the  biggest market on the planet. Prometeus finances all the space missions to find new worlds for its customers the terrestrial avatar. Experience is the new reality.

我认为在中国照抄一个secondlife不仅仅是名声不好（如果大家还在意的话)，而且我认为此路不通，也就是说在中国抄一个secondlife根本就不可行，即使secondlife在中国运营，也同样没戏，我的观点在且看“SL中国”之死中已经提及，这里再详细说说。

首先，在中国运营一个类似secondlife的产品，没有现实的基础。玩过或看过secondlife的人都大概清楚，secondlife根本就是一个自由市场经济在网上的翻版，并加上了互联网的特性。无论是美国还是欧洲的玩家，对这些太熟悉了，因为他们就生活在那样的环境中，许多规则是大家都默认、无需解释的。我们再看看我们国内的情况，国内的开发商/运营商还要争论一个虚拟物品是否可以在虚拟世界中无限拷贝，是无限拷贝更有利于虚拟世界的发展还是限制拷贝更有利，你希望中国的玩家自己来理解哪种方式对他/她更有利吗？类似这样的问题在虚拟世界的构建过程中还有太多，呵呵，路很曲折呀。

其次，在中国虚拟货币和现实货币是不可以自由转换的。那你拿什么吸引、激励并积累那些创造型的用户呢？secondlife的创始人Philip Rosedale在开始做SL的时候有一个梦想：“为创新者提供回报”，并在这个梦想的指引下做成了今天的SL；打不通这个管道，你还是secondlife类型吗？

第三，在虚拟世界中承认虚拟物权吗？可能许多人都了解虚拟物权对SL发展所起到的作用。不承认虚拟物权，创造者会积极吗？承认虚拟物权，怎么操作，现实社会中的物权还存在操作问题，在虚拟世界中如何做呢？

我对知识产权在现实社会中的作用有些新的看法，至于在虚拟世界中如何做，我还没想好，在这里先不说了。

本案是一位名字为布拉格的律师在2006年提起的诉讼。当时布拉格确定要以低于SL市场估价的价格购买一批土地，当他购买了数千美元的虚拟房地产之后，Linden Lab终止了他的帐户。
