What information technology influence is not limited in business development, as long as we can grasp the opportunies, IT can also improve our social structure greatly and profoundly. In the traditional economic style, what is most important is the capital and physical labor. In the new economic style, education and intelligence are the most important. As long as our society gives women fair chances and equal opportunitie, women can match to men in academic achievement and also their perfomance. The rapid development of IT provides us precious chance to solve the social unequalities and narrow the gap between classes, the rich and the poor, and the gender. We must utilize the chance brought by knowledge based economy to improve and promote the expected well-being of women in society and in economy.

Ladis and Gentlemen, good afternoon. This is our first press conference after summer vocation. I ‘m very pleased to meet new and old friends. For I know in the one and a half month off-session, 13 journalists from 11 countries joined us , and will be station in China. I don’t know whether they are present today, in a word, I’d like to express warm welcome to them , and I hope they will have a happy stay during their time here. Secondly , I’d like to express welcome to the joint journalist delegation of the Amercian Press Group, 11 journalists of 11 media who stand by the p.c. As far as I know , this is your first time to visit China, I wish you will have a pleasant visit and interview in China, and through you , let readers of APG can get a picture of today’s China.

Transmition media is closely related with social and intimately associated with people’s life, people can feel the pulse of the society. And through media, we all can know clearly the different opinions from remote areas, and can also give our ears to people’s voice. Media plays an important role, they supervise the government to be accountable for people and monitor the development of all social aspects.

After one year’s preparation, Shanghai interactive TV eventually came off (come to the stage) in our high/earnest expectation. On the occasion of this moment, I’d like to express my thanks to the leaders for their concern and to the unfailing/unswerving/constant support by friends from all walks of life. The construcion of interactive TV is a comples system work which integrates all forces. In the spirit of open-up, cooperation and development, we are looking forward to a wonderful tuture of interactive TV.（有期盼就直接+名词，不要“创造”）

Welcom you all coming all the way to attend the First China West Investment Fair. In recent years, overseas have quadrupled invested in China coastle cities. Today, a growing number of foreign groups and individual investors have shown great interest in the China west investment. There are many reasons behind this rising investment fever. The city of Shenzhen is close to HKASZ. It’s one of the earliest established and the fastest growing special zones. Beautiful living environmnet and favorable investment policy, make Shenzhen one of the destinations of foreign investment. Shenzhen is a young city with only 20 years history, because of it is young , it is full of dynamism and promise. Shenzhen has developed in to a modernization city rapidly from a fishing village with a population less than 330000. Shenzhen created the Shenzhen speed and Shenzhen efficiency.

14．当前中美关系面临着新的机遇和挑战。总的看来，中美的合作基础在增强，双方合作领域在扩大。现在，两国人员往来每年要超过百万人次。在美学习工作的留学生和学者超出了180000。我在美国前后工作了近7年，到过50个州，经历了中美关系的风风雨雨。我的切身体会是，中美之间的共同利益大于分歧。中美应该而且也可以成为最大的合作伙伴。
