在大学听笔记需要技巧，需要理清重点和学习任务，以及哪些是相关的内容。要想笔记有用，最好清楚简单的记下，几个月后，当你想复习的时候还能弄清意思。有些学生试图记下老师所讲的每一句话，这是没有用技巧，这表明没能理解笔记的目的所在。

上海举办APEC会议，表明中国进一步向世界开放。它不仅有利于中国的发展，也有利于世界的发展，是双赢的事件。在世界经济衰退的情况下，中国经济却保持着7.5%的增长速度。这意味着中国将进口大量元产品，推动其他国家的发展。

电脑网络自诞生之日起就有过很多名字，但现在叫因特网。世界上几乎主要大学都是互联网的一部分。小的学院，公立私立学校也是不此。杂志、图书馆、报纸、企业和居家人士也是一部分。对大多能够使用电脑的人，互联网已经成为一种快速交流的途径，作为这种途径，互联网无与伦比。

与一般看法不同，一项调查表明，男人更注重衣着的价值，尤其是那些白领，把衣着看成是一种象征，是在特殊场合打动人的标志。根据报道，白领特别关注他们的衣着给上级的印象。这是一项新的发现，也体现在社会生活的其他层次中。

20世纪80年代初，中国向世界开放国门时，中国政府为各种各样的外国投资扫清了道路，这点在机动车行业表现的最明显，从而改变了城市面貌。一度由自行车和公交车主宰的马路现在由私家车取代，成为特色。随着需求迅速上升，中国政府在1996年4月宣布进口车大大降低关税，从而推动了这个行业。

The city of Shenzhen is close to HKASZ. It’s one of the earliest established and the fastest growing special zones. Beautiful living environmnet and favorable investment policy, make Shenzhen one of the destinations of foreign investment. Shenzhen is a young city with only 20 years history, because of it is young , it is full of dynamism and promise. Shenzhen has developed in to a modernization city rapidly from a fishing village with a population less than 330000. Shenzhen created the Shenzhen speed and Shenzhen efficiency.

14．当前中美关系面临着新的机遇和挑战。总的看来，中美的合作基础在增强，双方合作领域在扩大。现在，两国人员往来每年要超过百万人次。在美学习工作的留学生和学者超出了180000。我在美国前后工作了近7年，到过50个州，经历了中美关系的风风雨雨。我的切身体会是，中美之间的共同利益大于分歧。中美应该而且也可以成为最大的合作伙伴。

2．买房子被人们认为是仅次于结婚的最值得纪念的事，在买房子之前，先要考虑的问题是如何使用以及会住多久。如果把买房子作为一种投资，那要注意，房地产市场是个周期性的市场，这意味着，房子的价格时周期性的，时高时低，所以应该考虑好买房子的时机。有时，等房价下跌的时候再买，可以省下好几千了。

Buying the houses is considered as the most memorable thing second to marriage. Before buying the house, you should think about questions like how to use and how long you will live in. If regard buying the house as an investment, you should notice that the real estate market is cyclical, that means the price is sometimes high and sometimes low. So you should take the timing into account, sometimes,waiting for the price falling(drop) can save several thousands.

 

3．从1993年到2000年之间，中国的计算机使用数量快速增长，超过了原有的1000%，印度超过了600%，巴西超过了550%，印度尼西亚超过了552%。以目前的速度预计，亚太地区计算机的使用量将在05年超过美国和欧洲。对于计算机的使用有两种不同的看法，一种是计算机的使用带来方便，另一种是计算机有很多缺点，如病毒。所以应当加以限制。

From 1993 to 2000, China’s use of computer increased 1000%, for India 600%, for Brazil 550%, and for Indonisia 552%. It’s estimated(predicted/expected)that the use of Asia Pacific area will exceed Amercia and Europe in 2005 at current speed. There are two different view about computer use , one is it brings convenience. The other is ti has a lot of deficiency, such as virus. So it should be limited/restricted. 

 

4．在纽约学习的外国留学生来自130多个国家，其中50%来自亚洲，尤其是韩国，日本和中国。外国留学生在14所院校学习，包括文理、法律、商业、教育。75%的外国留学生在研究生院学习，25%的外国留学生学习四年制课程，毕业后获得学士学位。学生可以向金融机构申请支付学费，研究生可以申请助教，从事研究工作。

Foreign students study in New York University come from more than 130 countries, and 50% percent of them come from Asia, especially from Korea, Japan and China. Foreign students study in 14 colleges, including art and science, law, commerce and education. 75% foreign students study in post graduate school, and 25% study a four-year course getting a bachelor degree after graduate. Students can apply for tuition to Financial Institution, post graduates can apply for assistant teacher so as to take up (engage in ) research.

 

 

 

 

5．扩大对外开放是中国实行对外开放的一个重要举措。美国投资人在发展服务方面有着丰富的投资经验和投资方法。我相信中美两国在这些领域的合作将会带来显著收益，为未来的经济发展打下基础，实现协调发展。两国的交流与合作将会促进会计师事务所等中介服务的发展。

Expansion is an important action of China’s opening up. American investors have rich experience  and ways of investment in developing services. I believe that the cooperation in these fields will bring benefits and will lay a solid foundation for future economic development, and come to coordinated development. The communication will promote the development of Intermediate Agency such as Accounting Office.

 

6．经过20年的改革开放，中国在经济文化方面的发展都取得巨大成就。在这期间中国的报纸从186种增加到2083种，期刊从930种增加到8187种，可供选择的电视节目是原来的20倍。20年前，除了播放新闻，没有别的节目，而如今，每星期平均播出3万小时丰富多彩的节目。在2001年，中国电视的普及率达到91.6%，就连生活在偏远地区的人们也能及时了解时事，欣赏中国顶尖一流的娱乐节目。

After 20 years reform and open up, China has made great achievements in culture and economic development. During this period of time, the number of China’s newspaper has increased from 186 to 2083, for periodicals 930 to 8187, and alternatives TV station are 20 times than before. 20 years ago , there was no other programs except news, today, 30000 hours wonderful programs are shown every week. In 2001, China TV’s penetration rate came to 91.6%, even people in the remote mountain area know the world affairs and appreciate the live first class program perfomed by top Chinese artists.

 

7．世界贸易组织成立于1995年，共有141个成员国，占超过90%的世界贸易额。该贸易组织的宗旨是使世界贸易尽可能自由而顺利的进行。世界贸易组织开展商务谈判，解决贸易争端，并监督达成协议的执行。世界贸易组织还为发展中国家提供技术援助，培训项目，还与其他国际组织进行合作。

Founded in 1995, WTO has 141 member countries who’s trade volume surpass 90%. WTO’s objective is to make the world trade free and smooth. WTO is responsible for the  trade negociaion and solving dispute. WTO supervise the implement of the reached agreement. WTO provides developing countries technical assistance and training program, it also cooperate with other international orgnizations.

 

8．职业运动为出色的运动员提供比赛谋生，他们攒购足够的前来养活自己，为将来打算，但是职业运动也有不好的一面。职业运动鼓励人们培养良好的品行和运动员精神，换言之，就是为社会做出贡献。职业运动和职业运动员有时并不这么做，有时还会给社会带来很严重的问题。

Professional sports provide excellent atheletes opportunities to make a living and also give the opportunities to earn money to plan for the future, but professional sports have some bad side. Sports encourage people to cultivate good character/shape and sportsmanship so they can make contribution to the society. Some sports and athlete do not always do so , sometimes they bring quite a lot of problem.
