Thyestes（堤厄斯忒斯）： Brother of Atreus； Atreus killed three of his sons and served them to him at banquet. Killed half brother under his mother’s instigation.Farther of Aegestus, slain by Agamemnon.

Tiresias（忒瑞西阿斯）： Blind(for looking the Athena bathing) soothsayer（占卜者）of Thebes，son of Chariclo（卡里克罗，仙女）and 欧厄瑞斯，know what birds say.

Tisiphone（底西福涅）： One of several Furies.

Titans（泰坦，土卫6）： Early gods from which Olympian gods were derived； children of Uranus and Gaea.six sons and six daughters, be prisoned in the Tartarus.

Tithonus（提托诺斯）： Mortal loved by Eos； changed into grasshopper（蚂蚱）.

Tityus（提堤俄斯）：Son of Zeus and 厄拉瑞；因对拉孔那无理在冥土长期受罚，肝脏为群鹰啄食.

Triton（特里同）： Body of man and tail of fish, demigod  of sea； son of Poseidon and Amphitrite,；father of Pallas.

Turnus： King of Rutuli in Italy； betrothed（订婚） to Lavinia； slain by Aeneas.

Tydeus（堤丢斯）：Father of Diomedes；one of the seven heroes who attacked Theban.

Tyndareus（廷达瑞俄斯）：Husband of Leda.

Typhon（堤丰）：The youngest son of Gaea and Tartarus；gave birth to Hydra, Sphinx, Chimaera, Cerberus and so on with Echidna；also known as Typhoeus（堤福俄斯）. A monster with one hundred heads, thrown by Zeus into Tartarus.

Talos（塔罗斯）：Giant；the last one of the Bronze Age；guard the Crete（克瑞特岛）；also known as Hephaestus’ father. Bronze body and only have flesh in his heel, bumped to a megalith（巨石）by Medea’s conjuration（咒语）and then died

Talus（塔罗斯）：Nephew of Daedalus；killed by whom because of the jealousness of his accomplishment.

Tantalus（坦塔罗斯）： Cruel king； son of Zeus；father of Pelops and Niobe； condemned in Tartarus to stand chin-deep in lake surrounded by fruit branches； as he tried to eat or drink, water or fruit always receded（退去）.

Tartarus（塔尔塔洛斯）： Underworld below Hades； often refers to Hades.

Taygeta（泰伊格塔）： One of several Pleiades.

Talemon（忒拉蒙）：Father of Ajax；one of the heroes of the Argo.

Telemachus（忒勒玛科斯）： Son of Odysseus； made unsuccessful journey to find his father.helped his father to slain all the suitor of her mother.

Telephus（忒勒福斯）：Son of Hercules；king of 密西亚.

Tlepolemus（特勒波勒摩斯）：Son of Hercules.

Tellus（特勒斯）： Roman goddess of earth.

Temerus（忒墨洛斯）：Giant；killed passengers by hurl them with his head；slain by Theseus.

Sinon（西农）：Argos who advised Troy to pull the wood horse into the troy city.

Sisyphus（西绪福斯）： King of Corinth； condemned in Tartarus（塔尔塔洛斯地狱） to roll huge stone to top of hill； it always rolled back down again. Son of Aeolos.

Sleep（睡神）：Son of the Night, and the twin brother of the Death.

Sol（太阳神，罗）： See Helios.

Somnus（索莫纳斯）： See Hypnos.

Sphinx（斯芬克斯）： Monster of Thebes； killed those who could not answer her riddle（谜语）； slain by Oedipus. Name also refers to other monsters having body of lion, wings, and head and bust of woman.daughter of Echidna and Typhon

Sterope斯忒罗珀（Asterope）： One of several Pleiades.

Stheno（斯忒诺）： One of several Gorgons.

Styx（斯堤克斯，河）： One of five Rivers of Underworld. The souls of the dead were ferried across the Styx by Charon. The river surrounding the Tartarus.

Symplegades： Clashing rocks at entrance to Black Sea； Argo passed through, causing them to become forever fixed.

Syrinx（绪任克斯）： Nymph pursued by Pan； changed to reeds（芦苇）, from which he made his pipes.

Sarpedon（萨尔珀冬）： King of Lycia（吕喀亚）； son of Zeus and （Laodamia拉俄达弥亚？）Europa, grandson of Bellerophon； slain by Patroclus at Troy.

Saturn（萨图恩，土星）： See Cronus.

Satyrs（萨悌尔斯）： Hoofed（牛马蹄） demigods（半神） of woods and fieldscompanions of Dionysus. a fondness（喜好） for unrestrained（无节制） revelry（狂欢）.

Scamander（斯卡曼德洛斯）：God of the Scamander river, also known as Xanthus.

Sciron（斯喀戎）： Robber； forced strangers to wash his feet, then hurled them into sea where tortoise（乌龟） devoured them； slain by Theseus.

Scylla（斯库拉）： Female monster with six heads and twelve hands inhabiting rock opposite Charybdis； menaced（威胁） and devoured passing sailors.

Selene（塞勒涅）： Goddess of moon；daughter of Titan 许珀里翁 and 忒伊亚.

Semele（塞墨勒： Daughter of Cadmus； mother by Zeus of Dionysus； demanded Zeus appear before her in all his splendor and was destroyed by his lightning bolts.

Sibyis（，女巫）： Various prophetesses； most famous, Cumaean sibyl（女先知）, accompanied Aeneas into Hades.

Sileni（塞勒尼）： Minor woodland deities similar to Satyrs (singular： Silenus塞列努斯). Sometimes Silenus refers to eldest of satyrs, son of Hermes or of Pan.

Silvanus： Roman god of woods and fields.

Phrixos（佛里克索斯）： Brother of Helle； carried by ram of Golden Fleece to Colchis.

Pirithous（庇里托俄斯）： Son of Ixion； friend of Theseus； tried to carry off Persephone from Hades； bound to enchanted（迷惑，魔法的） rock by Pluto.

Pleiades（普勒阿得斯）： Alcyone（阿克俄涅）, Celaeno（, Electra（伊莱克忒拉）, Maia（迈亚）, Merope（墨罗珀）, Sterope（斯泰罗珀） or Asterope, Taygeta（泰伊格塔）； seven daughters of Atlas； transformed into heavenly constellation, of which six stars are visible （Merope is said to have hidden in shame for loving a mortal）.

Pluto 普路同，冥王星（Dis迪斯）： God of Hades； brother of Zeus.

Plutus（普路托斯）： God of wealth. 

Podalirius（波达利里俄斯）：Son of Asclepius.

Podarge（波达耳革）：One of the Harpies；mother of Achilles’ horse Ballias.

Polybotes（波吕剥忒斯）：Giant, chasing by Poseidon and pinned under 科斯岛.

PolydeucesPollux（波吕丢克斯，双子β星）： One of Dioscuri. God of spar.

Polyhymnia（波吕许墨尼亚）： See Polymnia；one of several Muses.

Polynices（波吕尼克斯）： Son of Oedipus； he and his brother Eteocles（厄忒俄克勒斯） killed each other； burial rite, forbidden by Creon, performed by his sister Antigone.one of the seven heroes who attached Theban.

Polyphemus（波吕斐摩斯）： Cyclops；son of Poseidon, devoured（吞食） six of Odysseus's men； blinded by Odysseus.

Polyxena（波吕克塞娜）： Daughter of Priam；fell in love with Achilles, betrothed to Achilles, whom Paris slew at their betrothal； sacrificed to shade of Achilles.

Padasus（珀达索斯）：One of Achilles’ horse.

Pae雘n（派厄翁）：The doctor of Olympia.

Palamedes（帕拉墨得斯）：The most clever one in Greek, envied and framed by Odysseus.

Pallas（帕拉斯，小惑星）：Daughter of Triton；good friend of Athena, unwittingly slain by whom.

Pales： Roman goddess of shepherds and herdsmen（牧人，牧夫座）.

Palinurus： Aeneas' pilot； fell overboard in his sleep and was drowned.

Pan潘（Faunus福那斯)： God of woods and fields； part goat； son of Hermes.

Pandora（潘多拉）： Opener of box containing human ills； mortal wife of Epimetheus.made from clay by Hephaestus.

Parcae（帕尔卡）： By name of the Fates.

Paris（帕里斯）： Son of Priam； gave apple of discord（不和） to Aphrodite, for which she enabled him to carry off Helen； slew Achilles at Troy； slain by Philoctetes；also known as Alexander.

Parthenopaeus（帕耳忒诺派俄斯）：One of the seven heroes who attached Theban.

Patroclus（帕特洛克罗斯）： Great friend of Achilles； wore Achilles' armor and was slain by Hector.

Pegasus（珀伽索斯）： Winged horse that sprang from Medusa's body at her death with his brother Chrysaor（克律萨俄耳）； ridden by Bellerophon when he slew Chimera.child of Poseidon and Medusa. that with a stroke of his hoof caused the fountain Hippocrene to spring forth from Mount Helicon.

Peleus（珀琉斯）：Father of Achilles；husband of  Thetis；one of the Argonausts.

Pelias（珀利阿斯）： King of Ioclus； seized throne（宝座） from his brother Aeson； sent Jason for Golden Fleece； slain unwittingly by his daughters at instigation（煽动） of Medea.

Pelops（珀罗普斯）： Son of Tantalus；his father cooked and served him to gods；restored to life by the Fates（Clatho）；Peloponnesus（伯罗奔尼撒）named for him. father of Atreus.

Pelorus（珀罗洛斯）：Giant；slain by Ares.

Penates（珀纳忒斯，罗）： Roman household（家务） gods.
