his recent law review article, 'The Beauty of Bets: Wagers as
Compensation for Professional Athletes.' Professor Richman
discusses the economics effects of Professor Standen's proposal,
and Professor Haagen moderates the discussion. Professor Standen's
article outlines the advantages of allowing athletes to bet on
