Fion Gunn's paintings in the exhibition of Ireland are
my favorite. There are two series, include nine paintings.
The first paiting,I saw,is named 'Faughert View'(thought i
don't know what's 'faugher').It signed 'No good man surrenders,but
with life itself'.From the picture,we can see a tombstone stands in
a courtyard.I think it represents an attitude toward life. This
painting is a representative work of Fion.
And other paintings record what she see in China or her
feelings. She shows her love of Chinese
traditional things. She draws lanterns in the painting'China's
a rising city' and 'View from train'.
