If I asked you were it possible for you to get into the best shape of your life, we could agree that it is.  If I asked you were it possible for you to become smarter than you’ve ever been, I think we could agree that you could work hard, study, learn, and practice more than you ever had But strangely, the idea of becoming the “perfect version” of ourselves seems so unobtainable.  It seems impossible.

But it isn’t.  It just requires you to work harder and more diligently than you ever have before.  Is it worth it?  Just ask yourself this.  Would you like to be the smartest, best looking, fittest, funniest, best dressed, most compassionate, loving person you’ve ever been?

LOS ANGELES - Simply saying 'thank you' may benefit both the recipient and the person who express gratitude, according to the results of studies conducted by researchers at Florida State University in Tallahassee.

The studies, published in the latest issue of Psychological Science, found that saying 'thank you' strengthens relationships by causing the person expressing thanks to feel more responsible for the recipient's welfare.

To understand how expressing gratitude helps strengthen relationships, the researchers conducted three different studies.

The most common phobia people have is the “Fear of public speaking”. Some people dread public speaking even more than death. Most of us live with this fear throughout our lives. Being an underrated skill we fail to get proper guidance to overcome our stage fright.

Today let's talk about the discussion of what makes a good public speaker. There are three key aspects that you should consider: preparation, delivery and interaction.

Preparation

Preparation is the key. You need to make sure that you have a good topic and material under your belt.

1.Choose a good topic.

I think any topic can be a good one as long as it excites you and it is relevant to the audience. If you are enthusiastic about it, your audience will enjoy it more. E

Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.

The Kindness of Strangers

As heard on NPR's Morning Edition, December 5, 2005.

I believe in the kindness of strangers. I learned to believe this from a hurricane and a newborn baby boy.

Our son Owen was born just as Hurricane Katrina approached the Gulf Coast. Two days later, as Katrina neared landfall, Owen began suffering seizures; he'd had a stroke.

I didn't follow the catastrophe on the Gulf Coast as closely as I might have, but those weeks taught me some things about catastrophe and about the kindness of strangers.

All catastrophes are personal. Some in the Gulf Coast

As heard on NPR's All Things Considered, October 16, 2006.

What if everyone in the world was exactly alike? What if everyone talked the same, acted the same, listened to the same music, and watched the same T.V. programs?

The world would be extremely dull! I believe it is important to accept people for who they are.

Differences are important and they should be respected. For example, many important people throughout history were considered different, such as Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Harriet Tubman, Peter Tchaikovsky, and Abraham Lincoln. They did great things, but some people thought they were weird, because they had strong feelings about something. I can relate

A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit.
When the other frogs saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all their might.

The other frogs kept telling them to stop,Finally, one of the frogs took heed of what the other frogs were saying and gave up.The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could.Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.
He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said,
Did you not hear us?'The frog explained to them that he was a little deaf.He t
