Today is Lantern Festival and
also the
Chinese Valentine's Day.
It seems that I haven't spent the Lantern Festival with my
family for a long time. After I go to high school, all the Lantern
Festival are spent in school. Besides, no special traditional
customs for my family on that day making that it's much meaningless
for me compared with other Chinese festival. Even until last year,
I knew that the Lantern Festival means the end of Chinese New
Year.
It's sad that Chinese New Year has passed quickly. I spend the
most relaxing Chinese New Year in nearly 7 years. No homework or
book appears in the Chinese New Year. What was left was just TV
Drama. I don't know whether it was good for my future . But I
really understand that I could set off better after I took a long
break. People aren't like machine. They should need some rest after
working for a long time. However, I found it's difficult to
regain the habits of reading book or reading English
CPL power and Hong Kong electric announced
that the electricity tariff will go up by 4.7% and 6.3%
respectively from 1, January, 2012. Also, the amount of
tariff increase is higher than the inflation rate. The increasing
price of fuel is the main cause, said by CPL. But they are

the estimated useful life has been extended, which could increase

Yesterday was Isabel 18th birthday. She didn't host a party
and we two with some of her floormate ate a cake her mother bought
for her. Some of her floormates asked her why she did't ask her
friends to come. She said she had no idea about how to celebrate
it. And she wanted to celebrate it quietly. Yes, I agree with her
decision. It's no need to call all of our friends, wasting money to
buy a cake and spearing time sing the song'happy birthday'. The
true friend will come to you proactively and remember your birthday
without any invitation. For those who know our birthday by other
people or by Facebook, Renren, it's not necessary to invite them to
