Glass half full or half empty
glass half full 和 glass half empty
Glass half
1. Phl: The Houston
Rockets lost again last night. It's
their seventh straight defeat! And Yao Ming
fouled
out. That
seriously blows.
Josh:
Hey, at least he scored 30 points. That's his
season-best!
Phil: I guess you always see
the glass as half full, huh?
Josh:
You bet! Half empty is no fun!
2. Monica: Oh my god! I'm dead!
The computer just
frozer on me and I lost a big chunk of the
paper I was writing! It's due
tomorrow.
Angel:
I feel your pain. Good thing your memory is
still fresh. i'm sure you can rewrite that part.
When you are done, it may very well be a
better version!
Monica:
You know, sometimes I really wish I could
be
a glass-half-full kind of person like you.
Anyway, thanks.
