回归SINA(2008-02-02 21:58)
 CCTV的博客不好用~尽管点击量是很大啦~还是SINA方便~来放个视频试试:

This is my new blog. The staff of CCTV9 asked me to launch a blog on CCTV.COM, sharing my experience in learning English with readers. Well, I'm really honored cos it seems that most of the bloggers on CCTV.COM are either famous anchors or journalists. To be among those stars I'm overwhelmed.
I'm supposed to share some tips in English and my feelings about CCTV Cup or what's going on in my life recently in that blog. But so far I haven't figured out what to write about there. Obviously there's no room for private affairs or personal information.
Anyway it's a good way to publicize myself as I hope to become one of those stars in the future.
So my friends, if you have any questions about learning English, please feel free to pop them up in my CCTV
Lust, Caution(2007-11-08 22:43)
    Lust is a sin.
We come together because of lust, which is a warning sign to our relationship.
Maybe you don't know. I love the MACHO stuff in you but also hate it cos that makes you blind enough to ignore what I think and feel. You only carea bout your own pleasure and take it for granted that I'll be pleased too while in fact this is not always the case.
Probably you treat me the same way you treat my predecessors but you're wrong! I'm no comparison to anyone you've ever had cos I'm different and unique. I'm independent, even with the ring on my middle finger.
Every time we're alone, I enjoy myself truly deeply madly. But when I'm with your friends, I don't fit in. When you're with my friends, you try to be sympathetic but everyone thinks you're not sincere enough.
Every time we talk, you can't help telling
Universities should accept equal numbers of male and female studensts in every subject. To what extend to you agree or disagree?

When the first wave of female students stepped into college classrooms, they were kind of laughed at by their male counterparts. But over the years, as more and more female students enter university, they not only exceed males in number but also outsmart them in their academic performance. According to some reports, more female students than male meet curriculum requirements when they graduate every year. Female students even excel in some fields which has been long believed to be dominated by male, like maths, biology and so on. Thus, we have to reconsider the proportion of male and female students in college.
In my opinion, there shouldn't be any fixed number of male and female students in every subject. The admission should be made on the

In many countries schools have severe problems with student behavior. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

The main task for students at school is to study. But headmasters and teachers always have much more to worry about as students are too young to learn to behave themselves in certain conditions. Take my homeland China for example, with much pressure at school, many students don't show enough respect for their teachers. They play truants, talk in class and even give nicknames for teachers. Other students like to challenge the authorities. They enjoy secret relationships which are forbidden in schools or learn to smoke and drink alcohol at an early age.
There are two major causes for these problems that schools have with student behavior in my point of view.
    On the one hand, teachers

Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold. To what extent do u agree or disagree?

We are living in an era of market economy. Every company tries to make the most possible profit from the sales of their products, advertising being the best way for product promotion. I do agree with the topic that the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising.
On the one hand, there're far from enough goods in our market today but only those that stand out can gain popularity. And with sufficient advertising campaign, goods can distinguish themselves from counterparts and arouse public attention by emphasizing even exaggerating their fine characteristics and wonderful effects. an interesting question(2007-10-22 23:53)
The other day I was watching last year's CCTG CUP video when a question raised by the commentators caught my attention. It says, happiness with no historical reputation or unhappiness with historical reputation, which would you choose? The speaker was smart enough to avoid answering it directly. But the question made me into deep thinking.
I'm not an ambitious person. My goal in life is simply to find a job that I like to do and do it wholeheartedly as I firmly believe that fortune and reputation will come along if I'm truly devoted to whatever I'm doing. And happiness won't be a luxury if my career is satisfactory. But if I were to choose between a miserable life with historical reputation and a well-off life with no trace in history at all, I would definitely choose the latter one.
On the one hand, I think the most important thing in life is to keep a healthy body and a happy mind, with sufficien

As I'd expected, I got double offers from CUC and SHISU so now I have to make a choice between Shanghai and Beijing. Beijing has a better chance to win.
But I still have some other thoughts. Taking the Ielts test would be the first one. I may still apply for Baptist University in HK and Global Studies of Erasmus Mundus Program. The offers from domestic universities are  my backdoors. My dream extends beyond borders.
Nevertheless, I've got nothing to worry about my future, unlike many of my friends, who are so diligently preparing for the entrance exam to grad school. I feel really lucky about this. But at the same time, never before have I been so free and thus, kinda confused about what to do next. I'm in a relationship now and my bf treats me really well. But to spend every day with him is not my desired lifestyle. Anyway I'm quite content with that fact that he loves me deeply and so do I him.
  I still have t
