Sweet times
always fly fast, it's holding sands in ur hand, the more u r
attemting to keep it, the faster it slips. 4-day holiday, I spent
half of the time on the journey. However It was totally worth it,
even for spending one minute together.
Sorry my sweetie pie. Sorry for
aparting far away from u right after our marriage. Sorry for
leaving u alone on the other side of the whole country.I know how
much u miss me, and I know how hard it is for u to go through.cuz
I'm suffering here, too. That's the reason I make myself as busy as
possible, try not to miss u. But u know how hard it is. Even
though,I still keep the smile on my face, cuz I know one of us has
to do it, to be strong enough to face the aparture, to consistently
supply power and strength to make it through. This is the role I'm
playing.
Today was the
frist day of class. I got 3 classes, 'Advanced academic
writing','The best way to teach lisenting' and 'The best way to
teach speaking'. That was pretty interesting classes. The listening
teacher is an English women, She was nice and funny. The writing
and speaking teacher was an Amercian guy. It is said he's the most
popular teachers here. Heactually was very funny.
middle aged with a ponytail.hehe~! The way he was teaching was
exactly NEWORIENTAL way.... I like his teaching sytle. He was like
an actor with very exaggerate motion and body language. I think he
is an exaggerate version me.hahahh~! Most of stduents had no
teaching experience,those knowledge must be very fresh and useful
to them. However, to me, everything they taught today was pretty
much what I did in my class. My favorite part of the class would be
the theory and methodology.I could learn lots of technical phrases.

What a
coincidence.The same day of Rachel's TAIWAN incidence,the same thing
happened to me~! I ran into 3 Chinese students during playing ball
games at RIMAC(our gym).I overheard they talked in Chinese with
taiwan accent.(I used to see them having some organizition called
TAIWAN students Union)
There are soooo many ABCs here in San diego,in order not to make
mistake, I asked them in English: 'Are u guys from China?' U know
what answer I got?'No, we are from TAIWAN' The second he poped out those
word, I got an impluse to punch him right on his face.

Today was the second
day for orientation, we went school to choose our courses.There
were 3 courses everybody had to choose for TEFL which was How to
teach Speaking, Listening and fluency.And there were also 3
elective courses we could choose on staturday. I chose how to teach
TODFL,How to use games to teach and How to use media such as
magazine or pictures to teach.
I will probably have class
everyday for about 2-4hours.
After that I went to gym to
play ball games. I got kicked our again at 3pm,cuz the volleyball
practice.Then I went to work out my body.I think I'm too weak to
Americans, It was my first to work out in the gym,I've never been
to the gym even in China.It was great, I did a lot of exercises.And
after that I picked up sevral games. I was totally beaten up
today.For
It was the
my first day at UCSD. I was pretty excited and also a little
bit nervous.
I
woke up at 7:15, took a quick show had my breakfast(It was
the 'subway'leftover from yesterday and I glass of milk.)I've
beening drinking tons of milk since I got here.First of all it is
cheap, and it's also healthy.The milk here has no taste, so u can
just take it as water.
Today was the ORIENTATION DAY. When I got
the International sudents patio.Oh, my...people sitting there were
all Korean.I think I was the only Chinese. Then We were
separate
燞i guys, I guess it's been a real long time since I got here
last time. we've been the STATES for like a week. Everything is
going well with us.
I do have a lot to share with u guys, so much that I don't
even know where to get started. I'll let u guys little by little in
future time. So come and visit often. :)
Ok, let me just go over what had happened to Rache and me for
the past week.
We got LA on Dec. 26th American time. 12 hours flight and then
2 hours bus ride, then 4 hours train riding, we finally got to San
diego. (for details, u guys can check it out at my honey's blog,she
got all the pics)
We used like 2-3 days to get used to the time difference. The
food is not like what we used to think of. Too much cheese, butter,
sugar. Everything is sweet. I gues
