After eight months from the date I defended my PhD dissertation
at CityU, I got the certificate signed by the chief executive of HK
and the president of the school.
As the two degrees obtained some years ago, it is neither
everything nor nothing.
In my eyes, it is something.
It brought me the current position at PolyU.
It let me visit around the world.
It make me become a candidate of Hongkong permanent resident from a
peasant at central China.
It is a souvenir for my student life of two and half years at Hong
Kong.
Most importantly, it let me meet you, the witness of the hardships
of all kinds I encountered
on the road to approach it.
In case it can be considered as a glory, it belongs to
you!

一转眼到奥地利已经5天了。这几天时而下雨时而出太阳。
独自一人在宿舍，除了窗外的鸟叫，四周一片寂静。几个小时
以前，还可以隐约听到不远处足球场内的呐喊声。那里正在举行欧洲杯。
本应该贴些照片，不料前天相机进水，等晒干后才知道是否
还可以用。先用文字来记叙这几天的生活。
3号从慕尼黑入境，转机需6小时，先到慕尼黑市区逛了一个景点。
从慕尼黑到Klagenfurt的飞机非常小，有螺旋桨的哪种。这么小的飞机居然可以
爬到云层上面。胆战心惊的1小时航行后，顺利到达Klagenfurt，凭着地图，我千
辛万苦找到了我的住处。稍作休息后，前往office，发现group里大都是黑人。
第一次跟黑人握手。天，那感觉。。。不过，他们对我很热情。这几天的生
