The fact that we tend to prefer known flavors explains how, in general, repeated exposure is necessary to get to appreciate certain flavors, and how they like more foods and drinks consumed regularly, so with a taste acquired. In recent years various modalities of intervention have been experimented at combating the spread of bad eating habits, but above all that which has been defined the pandemic of obesity: globesity.

Interventions to foster correct lifestyles often correspond to those of primary prevention. Among the possible patterns of educational and preventive intervention, the most valid approach seems to be that of a 'multidisciplinary' type. To be taken into considering must be the genetic/biological, Physiological and socio-cultural influences that contribute to the creation of the individual identity.
