My birthday presents(2009-12-21 22:06)

After surfing on the Internet for a while and preparing my lesson, I feel much better now. And it's time to write about my birthday presents and share my happiness with you guys.

The first text message I got for my birthday came from Bluerain on Nov. 4, which gave me a pleasant surprise. He took Nov. 4 for the solar calendar. Bluerain is one of the first e-friends and the only e-friend whom I still keep in touch with occasionally.

The most lovely present is from Danny. It's a cross-stitch key ring, which she began to stitch in the summer holiday. I know it's a cross-stitch, but she kept it a secret what it is until my birthday. When I got home from Yanchang last Saturday afternoon, she answered the door and greeted me with the cute present. How sweet she is! She had never used a needle and didn't know how to use it at all before thw work started. I know I'll carry it with me forever from

Last Saturday evening, Danny bought a very cute birthday cake for me, with a special candle, which plays very soft music 'Happy birthday to you' all the time after being lit. We thought it would stop when the battery is off, but it is still playing in the sitting-room now and we have no idea when it will stop.

However, even though the soft music is being played all the time, I am not happy at all. All the sadness arose from my being a judge in Yancheng last weekend.

As a matter of fact, this is the fourth time that I have been chosen to be a judge in Yanchang. It's a great honor as well as a big surprise for me. No other colleagues in my school have had such an honor so far. And I have not worked with any other judge together for four times in my group. I should have been very happy. But it has turned out to be such a mess and I would rather I had not been chosen.

    I don'

A happy & sad birthday!(2009-12-19 22:06)

Ten years ago, how happy I was when all the family memebers and close friends gathered together in a restaurant and said 'Happy birthday' to me! I still remember the happy scene where I hugged my dear Mum, toasted to her and said 'Thank you for giving me life, Mum!' Mum replied,'I only gave you life, but it is you yourself who have made you who you are!' At that moment, I was flooded with happiness and wished the happy moment could last forever!

But accidents often happen. Only 35 days later, Mum fell down and never got up again.

My birthday is Mum's suffering day, so how can I celebrate it and be happy without Mum with me? No matter how many people say 'Happy birthday' to me, I can't help missing Mum and thinking of the vivid scene with her. I know my birthday will be filled with happiness and sadness forever, especially every 10 years.

    Mum, how I miss you!

A pleasant surprise(2009-12-13 23:45)
Just now when I checked my email, I got a pleasant surprise from Smile, my former student and present colleague. It seems that she took today for my birthday. Though it is not, I still feel so happy and touched. She must have been thinking about it for long. I don't know how to thank her enough for her love, care and concern for me. It feels so warm to know that someone is always thinking of you.

 Smile

At 11:58 this morning, our Passat arrived downstairs, meaning my husband's dream came true at last.

I always think it not necessary to have a car as our town is so small. When the Prohibition of alcohol came out, I changed my mind. As he is always eating out, it's not a bad idea if he has a car, in which case he will have an excuse onot drinking. As a result, he got the biggest birthday present in his life. Hopefully he will like it.

Ivy, my favorite student of 2002, is getting married today.

When my husband told me the news a couple of days ago, I was surprised but felt happy for her. I was surprised because I had not even heard of her having a boyfriend. I felt happy because she was my favorite girl and I always feel proud of her. After graduation from Nanjing University, she went to Korea for the Master's degree in Law. Now, she works in Shanghai Lawyer Firm. She is very cute, smart, sweet and sunny. In fact, words cannot describe how much I like her. I hope Danny can be as smart as her one day.

When we got to the restaurant, Ivy and her handsome bridegroom were waiting by the gate. Ivy was in a red dress and her hair was done in a Japanese style. What a cute and pretty bride! I couldn't help hugging her.

Congratulations, my cute girl! You've grown up! Best wishes for you and your

    Michael:

    James:

    ZAIP:!收到

    Anne:

    Linda(Zhu):

    Angel:

    Jackson(calling):

This afternoon I got a text message from an old friend, saying she had heard about Danny's contest and had been voting for her. I was surprised and asked how she had got the news. She replied that a friend of hers called her and her friends had also told the news to some of the other friends. I was deeply moved once again. I don't know who her friend is and whether she/he knows me at all, but what they are doing is touching me indeed.

Whatever the result is, I am very grateful to all the friends, students and e-pals who are supporting us. How can I pay you back?

Today I am deeply moved by my students' love once again!

Danny is lucky enough to enter the third round of the Oral English Contest of the whole city. The contestants will be voted for on the Internet.

When I saw the first one had got more than 3000 votes within a few hours, I was shocked. Then I got an idea. I could ask my students to vote for Danny, so I sent a text message to some former students. Right away, I got many replies, saying they would go all out to support Danny.

In no time, Danny's votes were rising rapidly, from 43 to more than 3000. Words cannot describe how moved I am by my students' support, including those in my class now. Teaching is rewarding! It's so nice to be a teacher! No matter what the result is, I feel so thankful to all those who are supporting Danny!

Millions of thanks to you, guys!
