In 1981, YU Fengli was born in an artistic familyin Northeastern China. Her uncle is a professor at Luxun ArtInstitute. During her studies at the Central China Academy of FineArts, she has evolved into a young painter skilled in blendingcontemporariness with classical painting techniques.

What distinguishes YU from other ordinary portraitartists is her curiosity to delve into the human psyche and seekfor the ultimate reality.
