YU Fengli
In 1981, YU Fengli was born in an artistic familyin Northeastern China. Her uncle is a professor at Luxun ArtInstitute. During her studies at the Central China Academy of FineArts, she has evolved into a young painter skilled in blendingcontemporariness with classical painting techniques.
What distinguishes YU from other ordinary portraitartists is her curiosity to delve into the human psyche and seekfor the ultimate reality. She believes that human beings in themodern era only show the most beautiful parts of their lives toothers. She is interested in unveiling what is hidden inside thecomplex human psyche.
